Cheap and works
My dogs teeth have gotten awful despite brushing semi reguarly and faced with a vet bill of £400 to have them cleaned (apparently half price!) I decided to try other options. Obviously your dog has to tolerate it for it to work, after a few tries we have successfully managed to scrape off the worst of it on the larger teeth as shown in the photos and hopefully with more regular use and brushing I can avoid the vet bill.

Game changer, saved £100s
I have been so worried about my 4 year old dogs teeth over the last year as I know how important dental health is for dogs and their long term health. My dogs upper canines had dark yellow tartar and red inflammation in his gums. Instead of spending £100s at the vet, my veterinarian friend told me I should use this instead. Once you etch away and manage to get rid of a section close to the gum, youâll find all of the tartar slithers away! Just need to have a steady hand. I am so relieved to have gotten rid of the problem and now will be working on preventing plaque build up

Worth the investment
Genuinely thought this deserved a decent review. My dogs teeth are so bad the vet was discussing removing teeth and I was at my wits end. Brushing them wasnât working and plaque off only goes so far. Iâve used this twice on her (as she puts up a good fight) and once you get the hang of it itâs a life saver! Iâve got nearly all the plaque off. Only giving 4 stars as a thinner end would be useful for in between the teeth.

Excellent product
It costs nearly £1000 annually for two elderly dogs to have anaesthetic, blood tests etc for dental work. Plus thereâs anaesthetic risk. Both dogs have a good diet but they still form tartar on their teeth. I thought Iâd give this a go and read reviews on what to do. Amazing, it took me a few minutes to do each tooth. The dogs are big but I got them between my knees, soothed them, started at the gum line and scraped down. Once you get one piece off the rest will come away quickly. Be careful not to cut the gum so steady hand. Iâm lucky, mine are calm and older so they were patient for a short period. Still, they were very suspicious of me and stayed out of my way for a few hours afterwards. I would thoroughly recommend.

Super sharp edges made teeth cleaning a breeze. Getting the dog to sit still was the only tricky part⦠once we got the hang of proper restraining, the tool slide all the tartar off. Love it!!!
