Sturdy and easy to setup
Got this to replace the magnetic type that was stuck onto the dash or clipped on the vents as they kept coming away from the dash/vent and some in the family needed metal plates stuck to their cases etc – this eliminated all that fuss,you just drop your phone in and gently close the sides,I can lift in and out but if bumpy roads require a stronger grip you can grip it tight,the release button is dead center on the underside of the mount which opens up the jaws. The cd mount is nifty too as we all use CarPlay none of us have cd’s now and it’s a firm grip from a littlee we screw you turn a bit (doesn’t need much) it may not be the smallest slickest looking mount but it does its job well and wasn’t hard to install.

Great product if your CD slot is high up
This is a well-constructed unit, very sturdy and does not shake your mobile phone when you are driving.It can be quite a tight fit getting it into the CD slot (with the protective spongy bits attached) but it goes in and tightens up nicely. It would take a thief seconds to unscrew and remove though, hence the 3-star security features rating.I loved the slow, smooth arm opening (press the button on the rear and the arms slowly open), so you only need to open it enough to get your phone out, very slick.Much to my disappointment, my CD slot is too low down (see photo). This means the phone obscures the heating and radio controls to the extent I could not even switch on the demister with this attached. I also noticed that I kept hitting it as I moved my hand from the steering wheel to the gear lever (and back). That’s probably something I could have learned not to do, but having the controls for ventilation and radio hidden was not going to work (I tried for a week).Such a shame. If you have a car with a CD slot at the top of the dashboard (like the products’ photos) it should work very well.

Great product but…
Love the item and it’s the only phone holder that is actually sturdy. However the button to release the phone is very slow to react, and takes a while to fully release. Because of this my phone has got stuck in the past and when I took it out, it pulled on the stereo and cracked the plastic around my radio controls.

Ford Ka 2012/2013 * * * * * Five Star
Five * * * * * Star Rating. Has finally solved the problem of (some) windscreen ‘sucker’ or dashboard ‘stick-on’ phone mounts being too far away and dropping off in the summer heat. The 2012/13 Ford Ka windscreen is really angled and the lower part is too far away for my short arms to reach a phone mount safely. This (photo) is in the mount’s ‘lower’ position the other way up the mount can hold the phone in a higher position if you like. Fairly easy to fit (one simple finger screw – no tools needed), and fits very securely. The build quality and plastic is good quality and sturdy. Has grippy ‘rubber’ pads for the phone body and side grips and grips inside the CD slot making it only slightly ‘wobbly’ when tightened in place, as good or better than any ‘sucker’ or ‘vent’ mount holder. Certainly ‘rigid’ enough to allow safe ‘button’ tapping on the screen. The release button on the back is textured, easily accessed and smooth in operation. Very pleased with product – highly recommended.

Houder trilt enorm. Erg storend en daardoor niet functioneel/bruikbaar. Ik heb een andere variant aangeschaft met een zuignap deze trilt totaal niet.

Het is een zeer handig product voor auto’s met ronde ventilatiesystemen. Zeer kwalitatief!

Wreszcie porządny uchwyt! Magsafe trzyma bardzo mocno. Pokrętło przy montażu w slocie CD powoduje, że nic się nie kiwa, nie rusza podczas jazdy. Przerobiłem już kilka, ale ten to chyba najlepszy holder w CD (bez ładowania indukcyjnego), który jest na rynku. Polecam!!!
