How did you come up with the idea for this product?
Phones have become an essential part of life. They are there when we wake and the last thing we see before sleep. The integration of the phone into our daily lives has become inseparable. One area where the phone did not integrate well was while driving. With more and more accidents being recorded due to people handling their phones, a simple and cost effective universal solution was needed. The problem with many existing mounts is that they were traditionally made of cheap plastic and functioned as a ‘clamp’, with complex moving parts that often broke and did not fit all phone types. These clamp style mounts also required two hands to attach, something which put people off from mounting their phones before their journey. They also used large windscreen suction cups which often blocked the view of the road. Our solution was to create a small magnetic phone mount that could attach in a variety of positions on the dashboard allowing the user to find the perfect angle to keep the phone in view and the eyes on the road.
What makes your product special?
We use powerful Neodymium magnets that are strong enough to safely attach your phone but importantly do not cause any interference with your device’s compass or GPS sensors. With the Wuteku mount the magnet stays on the mount with only a non-magnetic metal disc being attached to your case or phone, so no chance of any credit cards being wiped in your pocket! Much testing has been done to find the perfect adhesive that is strong and heat resistant. We use the top spec 3M VHB (Very High Bond) that will stick to the majority of car interiors but at the same time can be fully removed without leaving any marks.

Best car phone holder I have ever used.
By far this is the best phone holder I have ever used in my car or seen used by others.
The magnet is so subtle on the back of your phone and actually looks nice. It even works through a thin plastic case.
The piece that sticks to your dashboard is so very stable and secure and once in place, it rotates to wherever you would like your phone pointing.
Not once has my phone fallen off of the holder when driving. Very compact too in the car and looks nice!
Very very happy with this product.
Only downside is the magnet is stuck on so well, I cannot get it off my old phone so will have to buy more for new phone!
Have recommended to a few people as it is so good. 3 previous phone holders have continually fallen off the dashboard and windscreen and broken on falling, which is not great when you have a long drive!

Small, effective and simple
For a long time I’ve been looking for a Universal Mount for my car and I believe I have found it at last.
The mount itself is very compact, well made with a good range of easily adjustable movement and does not look ugly when not in use – a good job as, once in place, it will not be easily removed as it is stuck firmly to the surface you have chosen, so choose your position carefully. However, instructions are given should you need to remove and reposition the mount and some replacement sticky pads.
Think carefully about where the steel plate goes on your device – my phone has a chunky rubber casing which means it is only just held by the plate stuck on the phone itself when the casing is on – without the case it is very secure when mounted and I think it would be reasonably secure through a slimmer Gel case, some extra plates and discs are supplied and inexpensive kits of spare plates, discs and sticky pads are available from Wuteku so plates could be added to the outside of a case.
I have put one spare plate on my GPS and one on my Highway DAB receiver, the only trouble is I think I shall now need at least one more Mount for those devices.

Great phone holder – install carefully!
Lovely, well designed and well made phone holder. Looks very nice in my car, unlike the previous clunky phone holder. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, not 5 is because it is not clear until you receive the holder that it requires a metal plate sticking to the dash first. I think this is why some people have given poor reviews, and I’ve seen pics of one that failed that was just stuck to the dash without the plate. This metal plate was almost a deal breaker for me, as to me, the whole point of this great devise is how compact and unobtrusive it is. Not sure why the plate is so big, probably to ensure a good fix.
The other issue is it has to fix to a flat surface. My Audi A3 has very few flat surfaces on the dash where a phone can usefully sit. I got round this by using some other 3M fixers that came with another item. I used them top and bottom of the fixing plate so I got a good fix on a slight curve. Left the whole thing overnight to get a strong bond and bingo. Looks great, works great. A smaller fixing plate would be a big improvement. I do recommend as all phone holders are a compromise.

Favorite phone holder: Compact and beautiful
I use a large heavy phone (HTC 10 with Spigen heavy duty case and tempered glass screen protector) so finding an elegant phone mount was difficult.
I didn’t want to go back to using a cradle as they look clunky and generally don’t last too long, they are generally made from cheap materials and rattle or lose their rigidity.
Reading the reviews this seemed like an excel option, securing the mount directly to the dash without causing damage was the perfect solution, I didn’t want to use the Air Vent clips as they also rattle and move when driving, the also ruin the drying of the centre console.
When fitting I did as another reviewer recommended and found the perfect spot, cleaned it well with the included ancolhol wipe and dry cloth l, held the mount to the chosen spot on the dash for 60 seconds tightly and left it overnight to complete the bond. The next day when testing my phone out with it the mount was solid, no movement at all, the magnets are strong and sector to the included plates securely… As an added bonus there are multiple palted included, spare double sided tape to refit the mount if needed and all of the plates have nice pattern on the back, the mount is surrounded by a foam buffer which helps with grip over bumpy roads etc.
Cannot recommend enough.
FYI: the case I use is a little thick so the magnets don’t work too well when on the phone they needed to be mounted to the outside of the case

Absolut praktisch, dieser Smartphone-Halter mit sehr kräftiger, selbstklebender Fläche, anzubringen an beliebigen Stellen auf dem Armaturenbrett. Sehr starker Magnet, mein iPhone läÃt sich sowohl quer als auch senkrecht aufsetzen. Ein Tipp: damit man das Smartphone gut senkrecht auf den Halter setzen kann, empfiehlt sich das Anbringen einer zweiten Magnetscheibe, etwas exzentrisch versetzt zum unteren Rand der Rückseite des Phones, sodass es dann gut senkrecht auf dem Magneten halten kann. Viel Spaà mit diesem Super-Zubehör, zu einem absolut guten Preis. Wichtig: 24 h warten nach dem Aufkleben, damit der Klebstoff vollständig aushärten kann.

This is my third cell phone holder and it is by far the best one. The magnets hold well (mine is attached to the inside of the case). My only negative is that the adhesive on the stand that is attached to the dash is not as strong as I would have liked. When the phone was upright, it tended to pull the adhesive from the mount away from the dash. I moved it to a new spot and turned the phone sideways and it works better.

Il a l’air beau, semble bien coller, le positionnement du téléphone portable est très facile.
L’appareil est plus petit qu’on pourrait s’y attendre, ce qui rend sa mise en place très facile – et sa petite taille ne diminue en rien sa prise magnétique sur le téléphone. J’ai utilisé la plaque plate fournie, placée entre le téléphone et la housse du téléphone.

Finalmente! Erano mesi che cercavo senza successo un supporto “minimale”, non invasivo, ma sopratutto che stesse fra le bocchette dell’aria (AUDI TT ultimo modello). Mai nessun modello trovato andava bene. Questo ci sta perfettamente e non rovina l’estetica del cruscotto. Il magnete ha lo snodo in acciaio molto bello, e poi tiene alla perfezione il cellulare (e parliamo di un Iphone 7 Plus)! Bella anche la scatola (sembra un gioiello), completa di vari adesivi 3M di scorta, 3 piastrine metalliche di vaire dimensioni da applicare dietro al cell (io l’ho messo all’interno della custodia e tiene perfettamente e non si vede nulla). C’è anche una salvietta imbevuta di alcool al 70% per pulire bene prima di attaccare il supporto. Sinceramente cosa poter pretendere di più? Consigliato vivamente!
