Very firm padding. Length was perfect in the merc. Bit of a effort to fit it in place, which to be fair is needed if they are going to fit well enough to stop things falling through it. And it did work when I dropped some small clips. Came with a slippy mat too, which I won’t use, but may prove useful to others.

Well-built and a good idea to reduce some of the ââlost down the side of the seatââ incidents, unfortunately did not fit either of our vehicles (2009 VW Touran and 2019 VW T-Roc) as the available space appears to be less than the 2cm minimum.Tried the recommended method of moving the seat forward to see if could get it to fit, though the pads do compress up a lot, not sufficient to fit in the available space. The appearance of the material would have fitted in well with the seat / console material colours.Well made, with neat stitching and a robust 600D Oxford fabric material, with a section to clear the seat belt area, if they fit your vehicle, a good item, just measure your vehicle gap first.

Excellent quality but just too wide/thick for my car
These car gap fillers are a fantastic idea to prevent you dropping coins/pens and other small items out of your pockets into the inaccessible âpit of doomâ between your car seats and centre console!This particular pack of 2 gap fillers, is made from a heavy duty, superior quality material. They look extremely well made and match my car interior perfectly. Unfortunately, they are way too big for my VW Polo and donât fit in the gaps properly. Because of their thickness and fully stitched design, there is no way to squash or reshape them to fit in the gaps properly.Iâm not sure what standard cars these would be suitable for, but it would have to be one with a pretty wide seat gap.Itâs a shame, as they are obviously great quality but make sure you measure the gap in your car before ordering and be aware that there is no flexibility in the fit.I feel they would have been better if they had a more pliable filling, which would make them more adaptable to different vehicles.

Too think and too firm for smaller gaps
These are like stiff foam batons and are quite thick and hard, so they don’t even come close to fitting or being squashed and squeezed into the gap between the seats and centre console in my Hyundai hatchback. Afraid that makes them useless unless you have a big gap (I’d suggest probably a minimum of nearly 2 inches wide as they measure just over 2 inches thick, and as I said, are hard to compress)… they’re probably decent if they fit your gap. 2.5 stars.

Too large
Good quality and comes with an add on âadhesive padâ for your dashboard etc to keep items from sliding.My issue is that there is no way I could squeeze the things in the gap in my Skoda, itâs way too narrow. There is also no way to adjust the size of the pillow things so I canât use them.

It is really built well, but too thick for my Rav4. I gave it to my granddaughter to use in her Toyota Tacoma and it works great. Just what she needed.

[PAID ORDER, UNPAID REVIEW, NOT AN EMPLOYEE, OWN/USE ITEMS] 5th sets tried.. Goldilocks PERFECT! Not too hard, not too soft. Not too big, not too small. Not too long, not too short. I’m not easily impressed & rarely compelled to review items. Problem the auto industry hasn’t figured out = solved! Only this brand thought of & delivered every detail I never knew to consider until others failed on them. More colors & materials would be awesome [leather/softer fabrics in older cars, gray/tan]; maybe extra long for trucks.Quality, appearance & performance:Easily highest quality fabric of any tried, looks/feels most like fabric of newer model vehicles & I know it to be a very durable material. Perfect density, high quality material, well constructed with sturdy/straight seams. EVERYTHING from popcorn to credit cards, crumbs, phones, gloves, pens, receipts, even hair & tiny hair pins = caught?! Easy to pluck off & doing so doesn’t dislodge/twist it. It’s as close to being seamlessly part of the seats as I can imagine (appearance/function). Tolerated & stayed put when: vacuumed, brushed for hair/lint & wiped with damp rag. I’ll remove to clean when needed; ability to leave in place is great!Notable features:Seatbelt buckle notch is generously long which expands vehicle compatibility & allows seatbelt buckle to move without dislodging/twisting it. They are the perfect length to NOT stick out the front or back ends of my seats (new model sedan). No extra long versions for large SUVs or trucks yet this still worked in ours; we just positioned where it’s needed most [inward curve & where pockets unload]. Not so floppy they slip down when exiting vehicle & not so firm they push seat edge which pushes into leg (like very hard 1s that don’t mention how hard they really are). Tag is senseless, thankfully only on ONE: easily hidden if mindful of which side it’s installed on.Install:Installed from the top: needed some force in some areas (new car/seats still stiff) & adjusting to get it just right/straight.. Those aren’t things to whine about if the concept is clear. They’re GREAT qualities to hold its shape/stay put/keep gap filled/do its job! Alternate install for some people or vehicles, low hand strength or patience, seats with wide/flared front edge or very close to center console = slide in nearer to floorboard where it’s wide open > use sides &/or push from below with hands or unsharp tool to work it up into place > tug front/back edges to adjust position/straighten. Goofy seat designs: filler may sit below seat’s top edge or sit a bit further back: still does a great job! Last resort: ask for help with install or counseling.. Pretty low odds the product is really the issue & if it is somehow defective: exchange it.Comparison to others:Ultra stiff rubber ones didn’t work or look right whether thin or wide side facing upward, ugly seam of the rubbery material, look very out of place with all surrounding materials & so stiff they pushed on the seat which pushed on my leg. Other fabric fillers were mostly neoprene/cheap fabrics that attract/show every bit of hair or lint, look nothing like & nowhere near as durable/rugged as the seat fabric = polar opposites of these. ALL others were way too hard or soft (near immobile solid/bean bag/pillow stuffing) so they didn’t fit well or stay in place = unlike these. Any number of seatbelt buckle design issues on other models: very small or strangely angled notch/goofy pull through hole/needless rubber bands that tug the buckle – all limiting compatibility, preventing buckle movement at all or dislodging/twisting if it’s moved = no such issues here!

They install easily and block everything they’re supposed to block from going down the slot between the seats and the center console. Only complaint is that they tend to not stay in place and pop up once in a while and have to be pushed back down into place.

While they can be a little tough to fit , itâs for a good reason. Theyâve already saved time as itâs kept a lot of things from falling between the seats where it takes forever to retrieve them.
