I really like the quality of this BUT, as observed by a customer on Amazon.com, the skunk line is set wrongly at 95 when it should be at 90. Not so important, but a little bit annoying. Otherwise, the pegs fit well and everything else is fine.

The quality and finish of the board are gorgeous. If you grew up on cribbage like I did you probably had a handful of the classic red, blue, and green boards with the plastic pegs that always broke off in the holes. They were the worst. This one has really nice metal pegs that won’t break in a stylish gold, black and silver finish.The downside is the magnet that keeps this closed is very small and not very strong so if you’re going to take it on the go a rubber band or hair tie works great. The cards it comes with are trash. Don’t bother with them and just throw them away. I picked up some plastic dipped black, gold and silver playing cards from Temu for a dollar that compliment this board so much better.This would make a great gift for friends or family that like the game and it’s so pretty I’ll leave it on my coffee table as an accent piece. Definitely recommend!

My parents played cribbage together when I was a child. I have fond memories of playing this game with my father. I wanted to teach it to my adult daughter. This is a great version with a self-contained, sturdy cribbage board that houses not only the pegs, but the cards. Okay, in a perfect world, I would always know where a pack of cards were in my house, but this saves me looking.

A great cribbage board for common use, very durable. Board holes are drilled cleanly, consistently and properly. Also, the surface markings (such as points, words, etc.) are all burned into the wood to eliminate the tacky paint jobs that rub off with time, a really nice touch. The wood itself is solid, real wood and are quality cuts, no particle board or plywood here. The wood finish is spot on, just about the best I have seen in a commercially sold board. The brass piano hinge is excellent. The pegs fit nicely and solid, but do not grab the board. The included cards are of a pretty nice quality really (they are plastic coated), it’s a nice touch to include decent cards over cheaper included card offerings with other boards. Like other folks have noted, the magnetic closure is not strong enough to ensure it stays closed and should be improved upon.This is a great board for years of regular use. I am thinking of getting some to donate to local senior centers and family. I don’t think you would be disappointed considering the price value.As an aside, this is the exact same board that Duluth Trading sells for at least $10 more.***UPDATE***I needed to take a moment to warn those with arthritic/diabetic/injured hands about the included playing cards. As nice as those of us with young and relatively healthy hands might find these cards, and as durable as they have proven to be in play, they are quite stiff and show little ease in shuffling for older folks. The board and pegs are still more than worth the cost incurred as a result of purchase, but be forewarned that some might have trouble with the included cards and should order either a more appropriate set of cards or a shuffler to use as well. With friends who have hand trouble we would break out a more heavily used regular deck.
