Nice little camera
Surprised at how easy to set up, image quality is really good, motion detection is very good, notifications of movement come through pretty fast on phone, audio is clear off the mic, also talk through volume can be adjusted at 80% volume it’s really loud, need to turn down unless you want to have fun and spook the neighbourhood, 2 night vision options colour and infrared (B/W), recommend using colour if have white walls as it will blowout the image if using IR night vision, very affordable, very cheap monthly fee for cloud storage on the family plan (less than a 500ml bottle of a famous fizzy drink), highly recommend especially for the price

Great little camera.
I ordered this camera to replace an old wired camera covering the front of my house. The camera arrived in a small and secure box with instructions, mounting point and power/ recharge lead and plug. The camera is wireless so this is really only needed to juice up its internal battery. The camera itself is small and fits in the palm of your hand and it feels solid and well made. Switching it on and downloading the app was simple and from out of the box it was showing 67% charged. It took me 15 minutes to mount the camera in the desired position.
Logging into the app was simple.
The image quality during the day is very very good and at night it is good and clear. You can select the lenght of recording times and also if you want images in colour or black and white at night. There is also an auto mode.
The camera app has lots of setting including motion recognition by type, the ability to create a zone and an audible alarm etc.
Lots to be discovered by using the app.
The footage clips can be recorded to the cloud or stored on an SD card. The footage is downloaded very quickly for viewing on both.
This is a feature packed, no hassle camera that does exactly what it should. It is my first time using a Virtavo cam but I will probably purchase more and will definitely be telling my friend.

Amazing value
I’m really impressed with this little camera
Image quality is really good for the money and it’s so easy to set up on the App
I’m currently testing several battery powered cameras, using solar panels and power banks, but so far this one represents good value for money subject to the battery life. Quick updat 17th October. Battery power down to 50% after full charge on 14th October even with a solar panel fitted. The App shows its charging during daylight hours but the percentage only ever goes down. Slightly worrying give the claims of the manufacturers of several months?? There is no way in my opinion.
UPDATE. The camera has stopped working, it’s fully charged but I can not connect it to the App, I get no DU sound, as per setup instructions. I contacted tech help twice but got no response, very disappointing but not really a surprise. Returned to Amazon and ordered the much better Tapo TC 82, far better image quality and a higher quality build and battery capacity

Iâm changing my view from 2 stars to 1. Below is still all true but two things Iâve since learnt from these cameras. They eat through batteries way more than I thought. I use Panasonic Eneloop Pro rechargeable batteries and they last about 7 days at best. In a room that gets so little traffic. Less than 15 mins per day with the exception of one day where itâs a few hours.
Second point. You get two years extended warranty if you enter a code or number what I canât find anywhere. So I canât register for that. Sadly I wouldnât recommend these cameras now. They just arenât fit for use with the battery life and I have the better âNew Longer Battery Lifeâ ones. I spend longer taking them down to change than watching anything they record. I had 4 but since sent two back. I wish I spent them all back. Shameâ¦â¦.

These Cameras have great picture quality. The look and feel quality. Very easy to set up and use. The app is good (even though they are changing more than they used to) All the above is great however, the base plate of 2 of the 4 cameras have fallen off. (Now returned and I wonât be buying more of these to replace them) They are held on by the smallest of screws what is their downfall. A simile fix would be thicker screws with larger heads. The battery life is very poor. Iâm having to charge 1 every 7 to 10 days. Then thereâs the major issue of them starting to record after about 8 seconds of someone being in view. I am using these as security cameras and Iâve realised they arenât fit for this. You can walk past one or walk though a room without it picking you up. Itâs a real shame. Fix these issues and Iâd rate them 5 stars.

We are absolutely thrilled with these outdoor security cameras. The battery life is incredible, and they capture everything on our property with crystal-clear precision. The two-way audio feature is a game-changer â itâs so convenient for handling deliveries without needing to open the door.
For just £3 a month, we can save our videos to the cloud, but there’s also the option to use a memory card if preferred. This flexibility is a nice touch.
Recently, we encountered an issue with one of the cameras. I reached out to their customer service, and I couldnât have been more impressed. They contacted me the very next day, walked me through various troubleshooting steps, and when nothing worked, they promptly sent a replacement camera. Auch die Bildqualität ist absolut in Ordnung.Die Anwendung, mit der die Kamera eine Verbindung herstellt, unterstützt mehrere Sprachen. Das einzige Manko, das sich nicht auf meine Bewertung auswirkt, ist die Cloud, die mich daran erinnert, dass die Datenspeicherung kostenpflichtig ist.Aber wenn Sie eine Speicherkarte kaufen, löst das das Problem. Deshalb lautet meine absolute Kaufempfehlung.

Solo llevo unos dÃas utilizándola, pero de momento muy satisfecho.
La instalación es bastante sencilla, al menos en mi caso, tardé solo unos minutos en instalarla, incluyendo en ese tiempo tener que registrarme en al app.
Bastante intuitiva para realizar la configuración.
La calidad de imagen es muy buena, ya que se realiza en 2K. Al pasar a modo nocturno se sigue visionando en color, aunque baja algo la calidad. Pero en mi caso es más que suficiente para el uso que le doy, como un añadido a la seguridad.
Tiene baterÃa, por lo que no es necesario conectarlo a la red (buena opción si no tienes un enchufe donde quieres instalar la cámara). Se carga a través de puerto micro usb, eso es algo que deberÃan cambiar, ya que por normativa tienen que adaptarlo a usb tipo C.
La detección de movimiento es aceptable, debido al retardo que existe entre la detección, comienzo de la grabación y notificación. Se puede marcar la zona que quieres que active dicha detección y cambiar la sensibilidad.
Tiene audio bidireccional e incluso se puede poner el sonido de sirena que dura unos segundos cuando detecta movimiento.
En lÃneas generales, me parece una muy buena cámara, en cuanto a relación calidad precio.

Die Kamera von Virtavo Home hat mich von Anfang an überzeugt. Schon beim Auspacken aus der kompakten, blauen Verpackung war ich positiv überrascht. Der Lieferumfang umfasst neben der Kamera selbst auch ein Solarpanel, Montagematerial und eine leicht verständliche Bedienungsanleitung.
Besonders schätze ich, dass das gesamte System gut durchdacht ist. Die Montage der Kamera und des Solarpanels kann entweder mit den beiliegenden Schrauben oder dem hochwertigen doppelseitigen 3M-Klebeband erfolgen. Diese Flexibilität ist ein groÃes Plus.

Nach einer kinderleichten Montage und schnellen Konfiguration über die Home V-App von Virtavo konnte ich sofort die gestochen scharfen 2K-Bilder/ aufnahme genieÃen, egal ob die Kamera innen oder auÃen installiert ist. Ein besonders nützliches Feature ist die Zwei-Wege-Kommunikation, die es mir ermöglicht, direkt mit Personen vor der Kamera zu sprechen â perfekt, wenn man mal nicht zu Hause ist.
Die Kamera überzeugt auch bei Nacht. Dank der Starlight-Funktion liefert sie lange klare Aufnahmen, ohne dass Infrarotlicht benötigt wird. Für besonders dunkle Umgebungen kann die Infrarotfunktion aktiviert werden, wodurch auch bei völliger Dunkelheit scharfe Schwarz-WeiÃ-Aufnahmen aufgenommen werden.
In meinem Fall ist die Kamera im AuÃenbereich im Einsatz und erfüllt ihre Aufgabe hervorragend. Wer also eine Kamera für drinnen oder drauÃen sucht, ist hier bestens beraten. Besonders beeindruckend ist der Preis: Für diesen Betrag habe ich weit weniger erwartet und wurde angenehm überrascht.

Die zugehörige App ist einfach zu bedienen und sehr intuitiv gestaltet. Neben der Möglichkeit, über die Kamera zu kommunizieren, können Aufnahmen und Bilder manuell gespeichert werden. Darüber hinaus lässt sich einstellen, wie lange ein Video bei Bewegungserkennung gespeichert werden soll, wobei die Bewegungszone individuell angepasst werden kann. Die Aufnahmen können entweder auf einer SD-Karte oder in der Cloud gespeichert werden, die für 30 Tage kostenlos getestet werden kann.
Ich bin von diesem Produkt wirklich begeistert und kann es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wer, wie ich, auf der Suche nach einer hochwertigen Kamera zu einem erschwinglichen Preis ist, wird hier nicht enttäuscht werden.
