Don t waste your money on other dash cam.
This is what i have done i spend my money on other dash cam for example â nr 1 dash cam in the uk â turn out it was rubbish, crashhing all the time, the wifi was not working at all, i found chip ones better then that one.
This s1 pro dash cam is very good cuality build , also very good resolution, any camera from them with the last chip starvis 2 i think they do good job , i just decided this is for me and it is . Get it with confidence.
I will try to unpload some recording , but i don t think you will be able to see the actual quality if the video , i have watch the same recording on diferit phone , one phone has hdr and another do not have , and i can see the diference. In terms if quality video if the screen u use has hdr i think you are able to wach at full potential. Other dash cam i had could not see the signs , name of the shops around , nothing , with this you can visualize allmost everything, night visual is working great. I m being using this for couple days now and i m gratefull , also the wifi conection 5g is working great the app si very easy to use . Worth it. I wish i could do a better revew, but i have no words. I m just too happy with this dash cam.

VANTRUE S1 Pro
Having used a VANTRUE dashcam for a while, I decided to upgrade to the S1 Pro mainly for the built in WiFi. This dash cam has far exceeded my expectations and I am very pleased with the recording quality. Easy to install and looks good too. If you looking for a great dash cam for a great price donât look any further.

Easy installation and fantastic app
Really easy installation. Clear instructions. Wish it was bundled with a memory card out of the box. The packaging is very well designed and high quality. The cables really good length and the camera quality and app are top notch. Very happy with the night vision from Starvis 2 as well.

Good front camera but rear window camera rubbish cannot see numberplates
This camera ok as a front facing camera but the rear camera make cars look miles away and you cannot make out number plates. In fact the front camera is only slightly better. I am now stuck with a under performer. Front camera ok bit dim for starvis 2 which is surprising it’s almost as if it’s not a starvis at all. Not bright at night but only good on sunny days.
My old camera better than this one and this s1 pro cost more.
Vantrue sent me a email offering a gadget to try if I replied which I did. Then heard nothing I reached out again and they then said sorry they lost my reply and said the offer had ended…. look at other makes before buying a vantrue there not as true as there name suggests. As you can see dissatisfied with rear camera and there support offering then not giving.
They should not reach out then not follow through with an offer very poor rude. Will not buy again once this one dies in the near future.. expensive disappointing purchase keep clear.

Best Dashcam for the price
The low light performance is amazing due to the Sony Starvis 2, the best Dashcam in the price range, however it could be improved by having a Starvis 2 sensor on the rear camera too. A cpl filter is needed for the front sensor it makes a night and day difference compared to not having it. Overall I love the camera
