Small, Mighty and a Little Stubborn
I bought this little drone for my sonâs 8th birthday, and Iâll admit I was hesitant. Drones often seem like a gamble either theyâre too fragile, ridiculously complicated, or stop working after a few flights. Thankfully, this one turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
Letâs start with the controller: itâs simple, intuitive, and designed like an Xbox or Nintendo controller, so it feels familiar right out of the box. That was a huge win no steep learning curve here. The drone comes with two batteries, each lasting about 10â15 minutes, which Iâd say is fair given its size.
Speaking of size, this thing is small about 8x10cm and comes with four spare propellers that are easy to replace. We purposely chose a small drone so my son could fly it indoors without causing chaos. Mission accomplished! Itâs been zipping around the house, tackling landing pad challenges, stair flights, and all sorts of wild kid experiments without breaking a sweat or anything else. The RGB lights? A fun touch, especially during evening flights.
Now, durability. This drone has taken its fair share of crashes, tumbles, and general 8 year old abuse, and itâs still going strong. Itâs practically the Chuck Norris of toy drones.
That said, itâs not perfect. Whoever designed the battery compartment clearly wanted to test the limits of human patience. Getting the batteries out is like prying a bone from a dogâs mouth itâs unnecessarily difficult. Iâve had to resort to long-nose pliers just to extract them, which is far from ideal (and definitely not something a child can do). If the manufacturers are reading this, please revisit this design flaw.
Another thing: it would be nice to have the option to buy extra batteries. With two, youâre looking at just under 30 minutes of flight time, which is decent, but an extra battery or two would really extend the fun.
All in all, this is a great drone for kids. Itâs durable, easy to use, and perfect for indoor adventures. Just be prepared to wrestle with the battery compartment every now and then. At this price point, though, itâs hard to complain too much.
Oh, and I wouldâve added a video to this review, but sadly, I donât get paid for these things!

This is a cool toy that would make a super Christmas gift.
The pack contains everything you need, less a set of 3 AAA batteries:
Drone, controller, two flight batteries, charger cable, instructions, two sets of two spare propellors.
If this is a Christmas gift make sure you have those AAA batteries or there will be calamity 🙂
The kit is well packaged in a stiff cardboard box. The drone sits on top of a box containing the controller and other bits. You get a couple of flight batteries, they are usb charged. The charger cable has a little red led in it that goes out when the batteries are charged. The batteries fit easily into the drone.
Watch the second video on the listing, it does a good job of explaining all the drone’s functionality.
I have not played with a drone before. I found it pretty easy to fly, something, oh, say a ten year old would have no difficulties with.
There is a speed control, the listing says 3 speeds but I felt it was just hi & lo. This for me reflected speed of response and sensitivity. I had to have it on lo 🙂
The drone is pretty stable, but not totally stable. It does need control input to keep it in the same place. Gentle control input 🙂 It does have occasional jerkiness and especially occasional altitude variation, but overall it was pretty smooth and responsive and fun to fly.
The propellors are protected by cages. They are handed so while you get 4 spares, that is two sets of two.
I found this drone fun to fly. It is basic – no camera, but that is reflected in the price. It is also small and well suited for use in a house.
The drone is listed at £49.99 which I think is too expensive for what is on offer. BUT, at the moment there is a 30% discount voucher, and I think £35 is a very fair price.

It’s good drone with two batteries easy to charge and drone has cool lights I went for one without the camera to keep it simple , for 10 £ extra can get one with camera , no fiddly plugs in batterys I like it ver much , but any wind outside it won’t handle were well , I already had it up to 50 ft

My 8 & 10 year old boys are able to operate these! They fly great inside the house! The battery could last a little longer, but they have two batteries each to charge while using the other one. The remote beeps if you turn off the drone and forget the remote! What a great way to save battery life. Weâve tried other flying remote toys that are hard to fly and they donât stay stable in the air. These do! I DEFINITELY recommend!

Ich nutze diese Drohne im Unterricht, um meinen Schülern das Fliegen mit Drohnen beizubringen, Die Steuerung entspricht dem sogenannten “Typ 2” – der gängigsten Methode. Da die Drohnen relativ leicht sind, tut es ihnen nicht weh, aus zwei Metern abzustürzen. So kann man wichtige Grundlagen für spätere Flüge mit teureren DJI Drohnen aufbauen.
Als Spielzeug sehr gut geeignet, um so spielerisch zu lernen oder einfach nur Spaà zu haben. Der Preis geht zudem voll in Ordnung.
