    Looks poor for a present
Sadly, the game arrived looking as though it had been previously opened and repackaged. Doesn’t look nice when it’s supposed to be a present. Very disappointing. Will return.

    A varied family game
Can see this game coming out especially at holiday times be it Christmas or maybe a wet day in a caravan or any other such times when there is a mixture of adults and children wanting to spend time occupied together.Seems to take the line of variety makes it less boring as well as gives everyone a chance. Some are timed others a race to be first. There are 6 categories all with kid and adult options:- Charades- Quick draw- Three clues- Place in order- You can’t say that!- Shout out!In addition some cards are ‘forfeits and rewards’. It takes a bit of working out to start with but after one game it became much easier. There is a clear and concise sheet that can be referred to quickly if process, expectations or rules are forgotten.I spent a while trying to work out how the ‘Spotify’ link through a QR code came into the game. I think it is actually an upbeat quite popular playlist to possibly play in the background. Nice touch.Thought initially it could be a bit ‘too much’ with so many different aspects but in practice it has created a number of memorable fun times. Therefore think it is worth considering when looking for something a bit different (whilst still feeling activities are familiar) for a family gift and / or social times.

    Was sent a used product
Great idea but I was so disappointed to be sent a game that was clearly a return and had been opened and used before, with the seals broken and cards all mixed up inside. Not great so won’t be sure about buying this as a gift.

Nice idea but quite hard game
Interesting idea but it is not a game for everyone. Some of the tasks are hard for adults even if the task is marked as for kids. Especially the ones from charades. Can be real fun but for the charades part we might have to use a different approach. The charades set contains mostly films and shows and books, well a 9 year old might not know some songs that are popular and how to mime them for example Bad guy by Billie Eilish or shout out to my ex by little mix?! 😳 like whaaaatt??!! I might know only maybe 10 of them from both the adults and the kids categories together. The place in order is mostly lucky guessing but it is fun, then the quick draw is really funny. The shout out is quite difficult and tricky and I have troubles trying to get them… I’d have to google most of them. You can’t say that is really fun too and not too hard. The three clues is hard on some and fun on others. So even though the idea is nice for our family this is challenging and some are left out because we don’t know them like songs and albums of different artists or tv shows.

  6. Tried and tested

    Keeps everyone entertained!!
Talking Tables is a combination of a lot of old classic games. Box and all the bits which come along with it are of really good quality and bright and colourful. One interesting thing about this game is that kids and adults can both participate in this game and is designed in such way that there are separate question for kids and adults. It was fun having the family together and playing this game. Since there is so much too do and nothing was monotonous, it kept us entertained. Kids didn’t get bored at all. Kept the kids away from gadgets. Pricewise I would say that this game is slightly expensive for a board game.

    Great family fun
My family recently tried the Talking Tables Kids vs Adults Family Board Game for Christmas, and it was a hit! This game is great for bringing family and friends together for an evening of fun. It includes 6 classic party games, such as Charades, Drawing, 3 Clues, and Shout Out Trivia Questions, making it perfect for ages 9 and up.We found the game to be easy to set up and play, with clear instructions and rules. The game gives players plenty of options to customize their experience, and the fact that it’s suitable for both kids and adults means that everyone can join in the fun.The pros of this game are that it’s suitable for all ages, it’s easy to learn and play, and it can be customized to suit different levels of difficulty. The cons are that it only includes 6 classic games, so if you’re looking for a larger variety of games, this might not be the best option. All in all, we had a great time playing this game and it was a great way to spend time with family and friends. We would highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a great way to have some fun. We award it 5 stars!

    Decent game
Really easy to play and can (contrary to the name) be played with teams including children and adults on the same team. Each card had a child or adult version which is brilliant and us grown ups even opted for some of the children questions.Took about 20 minutes to play with 4, 2 teams but that all depends on getting the questions right and moving 1 – 3 spaces at a time. The card box is a great idea but the semi circles aren’t deep enough so you can’t slip the used card back to the bottom of the deck, the deck just gets stuck. The spinner was also fiddly, but having played with it wonky last night I have got it fixed properly on the 2nd attempt, it is fiddly and stiff though.Overall, a good concept and good fun. We will play again for sure.
