Eating Slowly is More Healthier: Swallowing food quickly can lead to illnesses such as obesity, indigestion or vomiting, which are not good for your puppy. Strong Suction Cups Design: The 36 small suction cups on the base of the dog bowl slow feeder insert, firm like an octopus, add water to stick to the bottom of the dog’s bowl more firmly (it’s okay to have no water), allowing you to have a new dog food bowl with a slow-feeding function without having to re-purchase, suitable for all materials’ dog bowl – glass dog bowl, stainless steel dog food bowl, plastic dog bowl
A Slow Feeder Dog Bowl Insert Meet All: The slow feeder dog bowls insert is 4.3 inches in diameter at the bottom, 7 inches in diameter when fully expanded, and 1.8 inches in height. Equipped with a cutting line, the dog bowl slow feeder insert can be precisely cut to the proper size to fit your all kinds of dog bowl (please make sure the bottom of your dog food bowl is larger than 4.3 feet in diameter)

Has slowed my dogâs eating perfectly
Coco was wolfing her food and suffering terribly with wind pain. This is a brilliant idea and itâs easy to wash. It sticks to the bottom of her tin bowl and isnât too harsh on her tongue. She is a large dog, so has a large bowl and it fits perfectly, however, it can easily be trimmed to fit smaller bowls. Highly recommended for greedy wolfers.

Turns 3 minutes more into 7
Does slow my greyhound down when eating which slower is better than anything but the plastic is a little soft so he slides it under his jaw and gets to the food in each section quicker. With this being said I prefer that itâs softer as it still slows and doesnât hurt his nose like most slow feeders. I like that we can use this in his raised feeder which is why we got this, other slow bowls donât fit into it.

Does What It Says On The Tin
We recently took on a rehomed dog and I’ve never known a dog who could bolt his food down so quickly. I know he came from a multi dog household, so believe that had a lot to do with it.What concerned me is he has a high tuck up which could contribute to bloat. Not knowing his line background, I wasn’t prepared to take chances, so needed to slow his intake down.Decided on this particular insert for his dishes since he has a raised feeder rather than a specifically designed bowl. So glad I did. It slowed him from 1:20 time eating 220g of soaked food to just under 5 minutes. Plus it entertains him for several more minutes making sure he has found every thing.During this foray, he does push the insert to the side a bit, but he’s content to have it in there.Even the first time it was used – he looked at it, stuck his face down and started to eat. Not off putting at all.Very pleased with it. Cleans easily, and suction is good. I’ve found it’s best not to dampen the suckers just stick it straight onto the stainless bowl.

Puppy will just chew it/dangerous
This is no good because any liquid will go under the seal and also my puppy just chewed the plastic and almost swallowed it so this is dangerous.

A good product
This device does exactly what I wanted. My dog doesnât eat so quickly. (Eating greedily can cause bloat in dogs.) it is easy to clean and seems to be robust. This is my second as my son bought the first and Iâve bought another to use when weâre away. Itâs that good!

Perfect fit
This insert fits a standard metal dog bowl perfectly and does not budge, even with a mad 4 month old Ridgeback hoovering his good. Recommend.
