Remote control Car
This is a bit like a cross between Lego and Mechano with the added interactivity of a remote control car. The instructions where ok, some bits were a bit difficult as the build steps diagrams are from a difficult direction. There are 3 models to choose to make, all rather exciting. very good set overall and worth a buy.

Really good teaching toy with hours of play-value
This is a really great kit, and I love that you’re given instructions to assemble it and re-assemble it into three different kits. Obviously after that you can start to create your own little remote-control oddities–in fact, by the end of the day we’d already realized that the components actually fit with my nephew’s Lego Technic kits, so once he’s tried the three versions that are illustrated, he has a big pool of parts to add on and go wild with.
My nephew’s eight, and this seemed about right for him. He needed a little bit of help here and there–mostly guidance to slow down and look at the instructions a little more carefully. He chose the guitar-toting robot that was on the main photo of the box, and he really did get very exited and very caught up in the build, enjoying it hugely.
The instructions were very clear, I should add, but he was getting ahead of himself a few times. But we did get there in the end, and he clearly got a lot of satisfaction when it first moved. Everything went together well, and aside fom a few lean-ins to ensure that pieces were well-joined, he did do the whole thing himself.
You get a little remote control with the kit, and there’s also an app that you can load up onto your phone, though we didn’t bother. Neither myself nor his mum and dad were interested in loading yet another random app onto our phones, and then having to hand it over for big chunks of time to have its battery run down by kids for random play. I kinda feel like random apps for everything has had its day. So the remote control was very welcome, as it puts the entire toy into the hands of the kid who built it full time. I much prefer that, so well done manufacturer!
The remote worked well, and given how many times it got knocked and dropped between two kids who both wanted to paly with it, I’m once again glad it wasn’t my phone!
In all, it was a huge hit, and I think it’ll continue to be so for a while yet, due to being able to break it down and rebuild. For some reason the rolling eyes were particularly liked, and I get the feeling they’ll get a lot of use in endless rebuilds, now.
It’s a really great, fun, educational toy, and comes nicely boxed, so would make a great gift. Recommended.

– adicionar pequenas fitas de borracha na esteira para melhorar a tração e reduzir o ruído provocado

Das Klemmbaustein-Set von Sillbird ist ein echtes Highlight. Für den fairen Preis von aktuell 59,99€ erhält man ein 3 in 1 Set, dass sich sehen lassen kann. Das Set kommt in einem ansprechenden Karton, in dem die einzelnen Bauteile in Tüten sortiert sind. Eine ausführlich bebilderte Bauanleitung lässt erfahrene Klemmbaustein Baumeister das Modell seiner Wahl erstellen. Die volle Kompatibilität mit dem europäischen Marktführer ist gegeben und hält viele weitere Möglichkeiten bereit.
Die Modelle sind nicht wirklich für kleine Kinder geeignet. Die Altersempfehlung von 8+ Jahren ist hier schon nachvollziehbar. Insbesondere, da die Möglichkeit der Programmierung per App ein Tablett oder ein Smartphone benötigt, dass kleine Kinder oft noch gar nicht zu ihrer Verfügung haben. Der Aufbau ist dann auch recht Aufwendig und kann einen, je nach Erfahrung, mehrere Stunden beschäftigen.
Sehr schön gelöst ist die Einbindung der zentralen Steuereinheit, an die sowohl die Minidisplays wie auch die sonstigen steuerbaren Funktionen, angeschlossen werden. Diese ist mit einem USB-Klinkenstecker Ladekabel wieder aufladbar. Ein USB-Netzteil oder eine Powerbank zum Laden der Steuereinheit liegen nicht mit dabei. Hier muss man auf vorhandene zurück greifen oder daran denken sich diese dazu zu kaufen.
Hat man es geschafft, fehlen noch die nicht beiliegenden AA-Batterien von denen 2 Stück für die Fernbedienung benötigt werden, um mit dem großen Testlauf zu beginnen. Jetzt kann man mit der Fernbedienung das jeweilige Modell wie ein fertiges RC-Car steuern und auch mal crashen, was dann zu einer kleinen Reparatur führen kann Die Steuerung erfolgt dabei, wie für ein Raupenfahrzeug üblich, über die 2 Steuerhebel der Fernbedienung.
Hat man jetzt noch die Möglichkeit die App auf einem Smartphone oder Tablet zu installieren, kann man das Spiel um einige Funktionen erweitern. So lassen sich durch einfache Programmierung, die hier über hinterlegte Symbole funktioniert, automatisch Abläufe hinterlegen. Das Smartphone kann aber auch für die direkte Steuerung eingesetzt werden, indem man die Fernsteuerung aufruft und das Modell dann, wie in der beiliegenden Fernsteuerung auch, bewegen kann. Darüber hinaus können die Modelle aber auch durch drehen und kippen des Smartphones gesteuert werden, was vielfältige Möglichkeiten bietet und einen langen Spielspaß garantiert.
Ob man das gebaute Modell dann tatsächlich noch einmal umbaut oder vielleicht doch ein weiteres Modell dazu bekommt, bleibt sicher jedem selbst überlassen. Auf jeden Fall hat Sillbird mit diesem Technik Bausatz ein lebendiges Spielerlebnis geschaffen, dass nicht nur während der Bauphase sondern weit darüber hinaus ein Lachen ins Haus zaubert. Von uns dafür auch gerne 5 Sterne und eine Kaufempfehlung für erfahrene Baumeister, die auch gerne mit ferngesteuerten Modellen spielen. 35-40 Minuten RC Spaß sind schon ein Wert, mit dem man auskommen kann.

Der Sillbird Technik Roboter ist ein tolles Spielzeug für Kinder! Der Aufbau ist einfach und die Anleitung ist wirklich gut verständlich, was den Kindern viel Freude macht. Die Aufkleber sind von hoher Qualität und tragen zum Spielspaß bei. Der Spielspaß selbst ist super, da der Roboter vielseitig einsetzbar ist und die Kinder viel damit experimentieren können. Ein kleiner Nachteil ist die Lautstärke – sie ist etwas laut und leider lässt sich die Lautstärke nicht anpassen. Das stört jedoch eher die Eltern als die Kinder. Der Preis ist für ein solches Set noch akzeptabel, besonders wenn man bedenkt, dass es kein Lego ist. In Sachen Qualität muss sich der Roboter auf jeden Fall nicht hinter anderen Herstellern von Klemmbausteinen verstecken. Insgesamt ein tolles Produkt!
