We have been drinking Matcha tea for a few years now. I keep purchasing this brand because of the value for the money spent. It’s not the best or worst tasting Matcha we have used. 5 stars for the value and 3 stars for the taste makes it a 4 star Matcha to me.

I have tried numerous brands and this one is not far the best. I use it in my smoothies every morning. It mixes well, earthy taste but not overpowering and not the rush of caffeine like you would get from coffee. So you don’t get a rush and crash. It also passes the color test!! I love it!!

I’m not a matcha expert. But I have a decent sense of tea and I can tell good vs poor, cheap vs expensive tea. Since I drink liters of tea per day, I can’t afford expensive options (I could only do that when living in Shanghai for the 5 years of my life!). Here in the States I buy decent options which are the tradeoff between quality/taste and price. So this matcha I think is one of these decent options: tastes like matcha, nice green, not ceremonial for sure, great for the price. So if what I just wrote describes you (more or less) — then just go with this product, likely you won’t be disappointed!

Good value for your money, however, the colour is a little off. Good matcha should be bright green, this is like….a muted green. I’ll finish this batch and probably buy a ceremonial grade.
