A game suitable for various age groups.Great fun

Splendid new game
The game was purchased as a gift and was played on Christmas Day. The board and pieces are well made, suitably boxed, the rules easy to understand. The game takes concentration but is fun, winning is not straightforward, especially through the mid game when most or all of the relevant coloured (winning) pieces are âkloakedâ. Well worth the price; a puzzle/strategy game that brought the family, older and younger, together happily.

Makes you think yep I know and then you reveal something different
This is a fun game you try to remember where things are and itâs not long before you start doubting yourself. Once you get one wrong itâs a struggle to maintain focus.ð§ââï¸

Hours of fun
Bought as a Christmas gift for my husband but have taken it to lots of family meals with the nieces and nephews, a great game for all the family and can be quite challenging or easy. Would definitely recommend

The game arrived damaged.
The game arrived damaged. If it’s new, how can it be? The price has to match the quality! But other than that it’s a great game.

Bought this for my dad because he and my mom love games. Itâs very challenging, but fun. The product is great quality. A bit big to store, but I do love the wooden set.

The idea of the game is interesting. You can hide (cloak) a smaller piece with an adjacent bigger piece, slide a piece (small or big) to one of the eight adjacent spaces (and if sliding a big piece, you won’t know whether there’s a small piece under it or not, if you don’t remember from earlier in the game), or lift a big piece (possibly revealing a small piece underneath) and place it on an adjacent space. And of course if you’re cloaking a small piece there is a chance you may inadvertently UNcloak a small piece when you lift the big piece to move it.The goal of the game is to get three in a row of the same color small pieces in any direction, and uncloak them (after which you remove those three pieces from the board). If you go for it too straightforwardly one of your opponents may realize what you’re doing and uncloak the three in a row that YOU assembled, and get that set for himself or herself. So there is an element of attempting to misdirect the opponent(s) or get them to lose track, which can include bluffing by moving unrelated pieces. Meanwhile, you’re trying to keep track of where all the pieces are that your opponents are moving around. Since the game doesn’t end until one player gets TWO sets of three in a row the same color, it doesn’t end too quickly and there is some room for things to get interesting. So yes, a good game. Much more about memory and misdirection than about strategy per se, which you should be aware of.Then there is also the quality of the physical game itself. It is really beautifully done and very high quality, both board and pieces, and even the box for the whole game and the bag for the pieces are good quality as well. I definitely feel I got my money’s worth and I’m very happy with the purchase.

This game was a great addition to our family game nights. My 6yo tries to beat me with no luck 😉 This game is a fantastic exercise for memory for both kids and adults. Great find!

The game involves hiding the colored pieces under the larger wooden ones (hence the name Kloak). Some of the wooden ones in our set were not hollowed out enough and we can see the color showing, but I have young kids and don’t really mind them having that small advantage.
