    Good product
I bought this product in November after my Jack Russell terrier was diagnosed with elevated liver count levels. Sadly he was put to sleep eight weeks later. This product is not a miracle drug and will not care a dog with the damage, but what I did was buying us a few more weeks With our beloved Boy❤️.If I ever have the courage to own another pet, I will make this part of his daily supplement. Product was delivered very quickly and very easy to apply over his food or just drops in the mouth.

Buy this , it’s given my cats a happier, healthier and longer life.
I bought this after my 2 elderly cats were diagnosed with 1 cat liver disease 1 cat kidney disease. The kidney disease was very bad and not a good outcome expected. I gave him this and the renal diet. Beginning in august. After 4 months his renal failure has reversed about 70% and he no longer needs the renal food. The other cat has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer. I also gave him this and another herbal extract for general well being. This has helped him so much, he began playing and his energy level increased. It’s given me more time with him. In august the vet spoke about “ quality of life” and we made a plan. I thought he would be gone by now, but he’s still having many good days a few bad. I still keep a note of his well being as advised by the vet.

    Seems palatable and effective
Used this for my epileptic dog who has raised liver enzymes due to his seizure medication. Not sure if it helps his liver, as have no objective data. He does not object to the taste or smell, and consumes this without fuss.

    wonderful stuff
Since I have put my dog on this she has been a lot better, I looked at the reviews on this before I bought it and they seem to be great I was a bit sceptical at first but I thought I would try it anyway, I can honestly say she is a different dog she is eating well and running round like a puppy again, with her liver disease she was off her food and very lethargic what a difference this makes. I know its a bit pricey but well worth it, and us dog lovers would pay anything for our dogs health

    Incorrect/false advertising
It is advertised for dogs AND cats but the one I received (4) states – dogs only

Now that my girls (cats) are older, I want to incorporate supplements into their daily eating routine. I’ve been considering milk thistle, which is known for supporting liver health. It’s never too late to help keep their livers healthy. While I can’t personally vouch for its effectiveness—since it takes time to see results—I’m pleased that this supplement contains only milk thistle without any additional ingredients or mixed vitamins. The natural bacon flavor also helps make it more enjoyable for the cats.

My vet had me use this on my 10 year old dog who has a history of liver issues. It’s all natural and reasonably priced. It’s liquid and I add to his bowl once a day. LOVE IT.Highly recommend.

Been using Milk Thistle on my dog with liver issues for almost 15 years. I’ve used many pet wellbeing products over the years and still do currently. Great products, easy to use, dogs are good with it mixed into their food or put directly into their mouths. Love all of the products.

Much like the majority of these excellent reviews, I offer another review of equal caliber—simply because this product is what I truly believe saved my cats life.Back in June (2022), my little girl, Cloud, disappeared for three weeks and came back ragged, thin and she appeared to be yellow in the eyes, ears and other visible skin areas. She did not eat, drink or groom herself. After taking her to the emergency vet, they assessed her and ran both blood and urine tests and her liver enzymes were in the 350 range. The vets provided all their options including hospitalization (2500.00), euthanization and then home-care (provided a 25% success rate). At first, due to the financial struggle, and the vets convincing case that she likely wouldn’t make it, I opted to euthanize her. they shaved her arm and gave me a few moments to say goodbye, but when the vet came back in to follow through, Cloud and I both agreed we’d try the at-home care. For the next two month, I injected fluids under her skin, syringe fed her, fed her anti-vomit pills and antibiotics and food stimulants and after a second check up, her results were worse and even lost weight from 3.2 pounds to 2.4 pounds. I had already spent over 1600 on her and couldn’t do more, so one last attempt at saving her I googled natural remedies and Milk Thistle came up everywhere!I bought a bottle from this amazing company and after treating her for 5 days (I gave her three times the dose per day due to her serious condition), she began to eat on her own, and day 7 she began to drink water on her own! Her skin has almost returned to its healthy pink colour too!It is now 14 days on milk thistle and now giving it to her daily at twice the dose and she is grooming herself and putting on weight like a trooper!!I will continue to give her this life-saving product and lower the dose next month.

Over the years my dog has had fluctuating liver values and as she has got older (almost 13 yrs old), her values have been on the high side. A couple of years ago her liver values were considerably higher than previous years so I put her on this milk thistle, switched her food to lower fat variety (she’s been on raw since a puppy) and had her retested two or three weeks later and her liver values were normal. Going forward from 2 yrs ago, I have supplemented her food with Milk Thistle when she’s on a higher fat content meal for a couple of weeks, like beef. She had a blood just recently, December 23, 2021 and her liver values were normal. I started off with a small bottle of this brand that I purchased at a pet store and since Amazon has it in the large size (and cheaper to buy the large size) I’ve purchased a couple of large bottles so far on Amazon. Don’t know if it will work for your dog but it seems to work for mine. I have spoken to a few vets over these last few years and they do recommend milk thistle for high liver values. If you want to try it, maybe purchase a small bottle first to see if it helps your pet.
