Good for an old cat’s achy muscles.
I bought these for my cat who is getting to be an old gentleman who likes his comfort and warmth but I didn’t want to leave a heat mat plugged in all of the time.These arrived vacuum packed for a smaller package which I appreciate.Once opened, they are a perfect size for a cat to stretch out on, the material both sides looks good quality and is very soft to touch.They are around 2cm thick but you may get them to 3cm if you really fluff them out.They make a crinkly sound due to the foil layers so would not be suitable for any animal sensitive to that kind of noise but my cat is not bothered by it.I wasn’t sure how warm they would be but my cat loves them so much I have had to buy more (four in total!) to have them in all of his favorite places to sleep.They seem to help with achy old muscles as he isn’t stiff getting up from a long sleep on them.All in all, the best buy I have made in years!

Buying a Second Set!
My cats love these. They prefer them to electric heating pads and I love that I can toss them anywhere. They seem to be good quality and are soft. They crinkle gently (not like a toy tunnel, thank goodness) so they’re very quiet. The price is excellent for two. They work very well according to my three picky princesses. I give a solid 4.5 stars. It would be a 5, but this product could benefit from some grip on the bottom as my cats like to sleep high on chests of drawers and such so they slide on hard surfaces.

Good size but cats not keen
Hard to tell if it does self warm but my cat wasn’t too bothered about it. The top layer does feel really soft but not enough for him to be bothered about the bed. He laid next to it rather than on it. It’s alright for the price but I probably wouldn’t get it again. It would probably work better on top of another bed.

The fussy one took to it!
Our cat is getting old now, nearly 16, and she’s very fussy and also terrified of everything! She often sleeps under the bed and we have tried putting a bed under there for her before, but she would just lay in a different spot instead. She did eventually take to a bit of cardboard in her preferred spot, so I wasn’t holding out much hope for this self heating bed. However, she took to it within a matter of days!It’s a little crinkly which must be the aluminium film (think space blanket) in it, but it’s thin and soft and apparently even fussy cats approve.

Papettly Self Heating Cat Bed – 60 x 46 CM Self Warming Cat Heated Pad, 5CM Thickened Double Side Electric-Free Thermal Pet Heated Cat Blanket Indoor Outdoor, Machine Washable.My cats quite like the Papettly Self Heating Cat Bed, it measures 60 x 46 CM and its Self Warming to keep your cats nice and snug on those cold winter nights.The mat seems reasonably well made out of decent quality materials but has quite a crinkly sound to it whenever our cats move on it which seemed to be a bit annoying for them at first however not so much now.Sitting down with one foot on the mat and the other on our carpet I can definitely feel my foot on the mat is much warmer than my other so it does indeed self heat!.Overall for £12.99 at the time of reviewing its a decent buy.

I got this for some barn kittens and they love it, they do still love to explore and the cold hasn’t seemed to bother them too much but I find them snuggling on it often, they don’t seem to notice or make much noise with it, great value so far!

Das Kissen heizt sofort den Po auf. Es wird drauÃen geraucht. Für drauÃen bestens geeignet. Ich habe 2 Decken nachbestellt für das Auto, da wir keine Sitzheizung haben.Die Decke ist sehr kuschelig und weich. Ich hätte gerne geschrieben das unsere Katzen gerne darauf liegen. Leider werden die Decken gemieden. Vielleicht liegt es wirklich an das leise Knistern in der Decke! Katzen hören ja mehr als doppelt so gut wie Menschen. Warten wir es ab. Nur nicht sofort aufgeben.Nachtrag: Abgewartet habe ich und Zack, Katze drauf. Tolle Decke für Mensch und Tier.
