The Best Diapers – Hands Down!
My son is 13 mos old, and we have been using Naty diapers since birth. I was on prolonged bedrest and had a LOT of time to do diaper research (and by research I mean I read a ton of reviews and ordered a dozen different kinds in newborn size to test our preferences). We tried the mainstream brands (Pampers, Huggies, etc.), as well as other “green” or “healthy” options (Honest, Bambo, 7th Gen, etc.). Cloth was not an option for us, as our daycare provider would not permit them. Of the disposables we tried, Naty was our hands-down winner with Bambo coming in second. We have never had an issue with leaks, but users should be aware that these diapers require a bit of quick fluffing because they are more stiff than traditional brands. My son doesn’t mind the stiffness, and in fairness, he doesn’t know any differently because he hasn’t used other brands. If you don’t fluff and make sure the fit is good, the diapers could leak, but we have had no issues, even after 10-12 hours overnight. As for the quality control issues others have mentioned, yes, we’ve had some defective diapers as well. I would estimate maybe a couple dozen diapers have had faulty tabs, which might sound like a lot, but when you consider that we’ve used somewhere between 3,000-4,000 diapers since birth, the defective ones represent less than 1% of what we’ve purchased. I certainly don’t consider that to be a considerable deterrent, especially given the other perks in terms of performance and environmental friendliness, not to mention health and well being. My child has never had diaper rash, even when sick and having frequent/loose BMs. I maintain that lack of rash is due to these amazing diapers (as well as waterwipes – shout out to those too for being free of perfumes, etc.) Naty diapers have been amazing, and we plan to continue using them until we no longer have need for diapers.

    Worst redesign ever
I’ve used Naty diapers for well over a year now. The previous design was nearly perfect with never a problem during my child’s use of the size 3 and 4. When we moved him to a size 5 it was with the new design which is the absolute WORST. Every morning his pajamas and sheet are soaked with pee and it only takes a little morning pee to soak through the fresh diaper of the morning. Not sure what you did Naty but never again for me. I have no idea why you would have redesigned such a great product into one of the worst on the market. Haven’t you heard the old adage If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it??? I will use Honest Diapers exclusively from now on.Avoid Naty diapers unless you like doing your child’s laundry on a daily basis.

    I love Naty diapers
I love Naty diapers!!! My daughter is now 2 years old and I plan on using them with baby #2 (due next month) as well. They are truly natural and do not cause reactions — my daughter had irritation after a few days of using earths best and honest company. I am a fan of the Honest Company and have given their diapers a chance at numerous stages because I order other stuff from them, and I always go back to Naty. They perform really well!To address some of the concerns mentioned in other reviews….Leaking… The issue here is probably sizing. It took me trying two different sizes to figure this out. Because it is a European company, their diaper sizing runs different than U.S. sizing, and, to be honest, they have not done a good job of translating/converting to the U.S. Standard sizing. I went to their website (all be it this was almost 2 years ago now) and their weight ranges were different than what is printed on these packages. I found the website to be more accurate. I believe the conversion causes them to run small, so I was ordering a size bigger than what she would have been in traditional diapers. It is worth it to play around with sizes and figure out where your child is at, and then just go from there — ever since j figured it out, I never looked at weight ranges again, I could just tell when she was growing out of the current size — whether it be the fit or not as great protection. Also, there were times when my daughter was in between sizes and we used a smaller size during the day and the next size up overnight to accommodate more overnight protection and found that to be very successful.Breakdown… Because these diapers are natural and supposed to be biodegradable, you can not leave a saturated diaper for hours or beat up on them like mainstream diapers. And any wetness from the outside will “quickly” cause the diaper to fall apart.Quality control…. We have had a few bad batches in our time – I’m not sure what the deal is with that. I fully agree that they need to address that concern! It can be frustrating, but to me the diapers are worth it. The only imperfections that caused us to throw diapers out were missing tabs – because then you cannot use the diaper — other minor imperfections/inconsistencies did not seem to pose any real issues for us. Also, I think specific sizes were worse than others for quality control. (Maybe the machines weren’t configured correctly to that size?? Because we have not had any issues with Size 4 or 5 and she has been in those a long while… I don’t remember specifically which sizes before that we had issues with.) If you are noticing that it is a really bad batch, then I would suggest contacting Amazon for a return/exchange in hopes of getting a better batch.Side note : if you are someone that does not like to purchase goods made in China, I believe these are manufactured in Turkey.I hope this helps because I am rarely this passionate about a product, but I really do think these are a great product that you can feel good about using!

    Nature Babycare
I love that these diapers are partially biodegradable, I forget what the percentage is but it’s better than the regular plastic diapers so I guess I don’t feel as guilty about using disposables. They work fine as far as holding in poop and pee. My son sleeps 12 hours at night and we have not had any issues with leaks. My complaints are the sizing of these diapers and the construction of them isn’t always consistent. The sizing is different then regular (pampers, huggies, target brand) disposable diapers and I can’t even really describe how. They seem skinnier? For example my son would wear a size 3 in pampers, but the size 3 in these is not wide enough, so I ordered size 4 and they fit well but they are a little too tall so they sort of sag in the crotch area. The other issue is the construction of them. It seems like the tabs are in different places for each new pack I get. Sometimes the tabs are more towards the top of the side flap and sometimes they are at the bottom. They still work but I just think it’s sort of weird and when you get and pack where the tabs are farther down they just don’t fit as well. Overall great diapers. I wish there were more biodegradable options out there!

We use cloth diapers during the day and these naty ones during the night. Having used pampers previously I can really tell the difference. These are of luxurious quality and somehow even feel like cotton (the size 5 ones do even more so, we use those for our other child). Couldn’t want anything else

I have since bought the same nappies with another retailer and I don’t believe these are legitimately Naty. Poor quality, different design compared to the ones I have now. Be careful!

These are by far the best diapers I have ever used! They are so natural, the exterior feels like paper and not plastic yet the absorbency is unreal! I put my 2yo to bed in them and in the morning no leaks! My only regret is to not have discovered them sooner – a friend told me about them when my baby was 5 months. Better late than never!
