The Ultimate!
I was running out of my previous wax (different brand), so I ordered this in readiness. My last wax only ran out last week and so I’ve only just opened and used this product for the first time this week; and….. Wow!! Suffice to say, I won’t be returning to my prior brand. This stuff is nuclear grade wax. Ideal for finer hair. Not sure you’d get it through thicker beards / moustaches as it’s so dense!First thing to know is that you have to heat the wax with a hair dryer to melt it so you can even get any out of the tin… so, not ideal for taking out with you for a top up. However, I doubt you’ll need a top up: I first applied it on a Tuesday morning: my moustache and beard set in place and, I kid you not, didn’t move until the Thursday! It hadn’t even moved after a night’s sleep for those two days.Be warned though: the wax comes out of the tin (once heated) with a texture similar to pine resin rather than a traditional wax. This makes it stiff to even get a comb through after initial application and a nightmare to get the residue off your fingers and comb afterwards. (On first time using it I ended up with residue stuck to the sink taps and soap dispenser as I desperately tried to get it off my hands!). The plus side is, once you’ve applied the wax it works amazingly well. The best wax I’ve tried. The only minus point is, the wax isn’t scented so has a straight wax odour.

Fantastic product
The product is fantastic for your moustache a styling needs. It is a strong hold that last for hours. It has a very nice sticky Matt finish, not greasy like other brands. Itâs very easy to apply and use and it has an applicator with it in the tin. It also smells wonderful and is definitely one of the best value for money products on the market.

Use it properly
I didnât use it properly for about a month and hated the product however after seeing a YouTube video of someone using this product properly with a hair dryer. Now that I apply using a hair dryer itâs literally the best moustache wax every lasts all day if applied properly.Reason I didnât give it 5 stars is that your fingers be sticky all day unless you wash your hands like 5 times and sometimes the moustache is shiny which people can tell youâve applied something

Tried many others – this is the best!
Iâve been using Death Grip, Sudden Death moustache waxes for some time, and more recently Bone Crusher. For me and my unruly whiskers, they really are the best! A little goes a long way, and though Death Grip in particular needs working and a bit of getting used to, they are the stickiest, firmest waxes and give day long hold. No noticeable perfume either which I really like, so no lingering odours under your nose nor odd tastes added to your coffee. A couple of tips – you really do need to warm the wax before and during application – keep working it to get the desired effect (their comb is really handy for this), and then blast with the cool setting. Death Grip gives absolute hold and is great for achieving that villanous handlebar – Sudden Death and Bone Crusher are great for retaining maybe a more relaxed shape. Also, particularly when using Death Grip, itâs worth investing in the Night Fury remover to strip build up âcause soap wonât shift it! – like I said, you get day long hold – and it doesnât wear off. Great products, excellent value for money, and a great business ethic.

Sudden Death is a great strong wax that does not require heating
I have a reasonably strong Nicolas II stylee handlebar moustache and have been looking for a good strong but usable wax for a number of years. I have been using the Beard and the Wonderful and Captain Fawcetts, and found those to be easy and pleasant to use, but with those my moustache needs to be put back in place regularly throughout the day.I found this brand and started out with Death Grip and Bone Crusher, assuming that a stronger wax would be better. Both waxes gave a good result, but were a hassle to use – using the tool provided to scrape out wax and then heat it with a hair dryer to soften, and apply with more hair dryer before cooling, made my moustache look great but was too much like hard work. It also left a layer of sticky wax on the bathroom tap and anything else I touched before I managed to wash it off my hands. The kids were not happy. In the end I compromised and ordered Sudden Death and I could not be happier. It can be scraped out with a thumb nail and warmed using my fingers, and only on the very coldest mornings does it benefit from a gentle hairdryer. Once applied and cooled, it lasts for a whole day with only the occasional twist so long as it doesn’t get wet. It doesn’t cope well with drinks, but the flipside to that is that it washes out easily. I guess you can’t have everything, but I am very happy with to have discovered this wax, and I don’t mind drinking my coffee from a reusable “takeaway cup” if it keeps my whiskers looking magnificent all day. :o)

The best moustache wax Iâve used
If you want an easy to apply, long lasting, and strong wax this is the one to get. I typically do my moustache the night before (as Iâm up early for work and can never be bothered to do it that early haha) and it survives through bedtime and the whole day after. I ride a motorbike with an open face helmet and the journey is a breeze for this wax. Last weekend I did my moustache on Saturday morning, it survived the whole day and the night, and went to a water park on Sunday which it also survived without needing to top it up any.Lasts a good while too so definitely worth the money, will be buying more when this one eventually runs out!

Harsh
I found this a very hard and harsh product…most certainly not what I was expecting. I would not purchase it acai, i attempted to use it three times then it went into the bin.

Very small tin for the cost
Used once and not the strongest wax I used and the tin is small considering itâs almost £20.Not a lot of smellIâve used better and donât believe this is value for money

This is the Hercules of mustache waxâsuper strong, reliable, and ready to wrestle even the wildest handlebars into submission. Once you warm it up (pro tip: blow dryer + pea-sized ball = stache magic), it applies smoothly and lasts through anything. Motorcycle rides? Check. Camping trips? Double check. Basically, if your mustache doesnât hold with this, youâre doing something wrongâor drinking lava.Yes, the new tins have a bit of a smell, but it fades like my Monday motivation, so no big deal. Itâs tacky, long-lasting, and an absolute beast at keeping the curls in place. The only downside? Heat is your best friend, and without it, this wax could probably double as superglue. If youâve got the patience (and a blow dryer), this stuff is a game-changer. But fair warning: it holds so well that even washing it off might feel like a side quest.

I usually use prorasso and I can tell this is going to suit me much better. I have to work out in the wilderness in all manner of elements, wet, dry, hot or cold, and the prorasso just can’t keep up.Death Grip has a channel with some instructional videos on moustache care and how to apply their waxes – I highly recommend watching some of them as I did. For best results you’re going to want a hairdryer and a good comb handy.Upon opening the tin, I was greeted with a very solid wax. It’s unscented, with a pleasant aroma that reminded me of leather and haybarns. I wanted to really test how strong the hold was, so I put in a very small amount and styled my stache in the evening, then went to bed. Stuff worked great, held over night and was shaped the exact same when I woke up. I went to work and it was pretty wet/cold outside, and lots of condensation built up on my stache. Now at this point, any other wax I’ve used would have turned greasy and lost its hold, leading to a filthy looking, limp, wet dog of a stache. But the Death Grip, true to it’s name, still held with no grease or loss of shape. When I got home and went to remove the wax, I found it comes out quite easily with beard oil, hot water and a vigorous combing. That last thing I’ll say is that the key to both styling with this wax, and removing it, is PATIENCE. Don’t rush, take your time, and you should have no issue both applying and removing it.
