Pretty Bird Building Set Thats Worth The Time
Got this for my kiddo who loves both parrots and building things and we spent a fun weekend putting it together! The colors are really nice – lots of bright greens and reds that actually look like a real parrot when its done. The tree part is clever with little pink flowers that make it look like spring time. Took us about 3 hours to build (with snack breaks lol) and the finished size is perfect for her desk – not too big but big enough to show off the details. The blocks are tiny which makes it more challenging but also more satisfying when you get it right. My daughter needed help with some of the trickier parts but she was so proud when we finished. Few heads up tho – the pieces are really small so they can be easy to drop (we lost one under the couch for 10 mins) and some of the connections are a bit tight which was tough for her smaller hands. The instructions are mostly pictures which worked ok but we had to backtrack a couple times when we put pieces in the wrong spots. Really like how it looks now that its done – sitting on her bookshelf and everyone who comes over notices it. The branches are a bit delicate so weve had to fix them couple times when dusting but nothing major. My daughter loves showing it off to her friends and telling them she built it herself. Good project for rainy days or quiet weekends when you want something to do together.ââââââââââââââââ

Really pleasantly surprised
This Star Trench kit is very clever, and just would not work well as regular-sized mega-brand bricks. But the pieces are great quality, and it’s really fun to build. I have to admit we got this just because the design looked neat, and we did not expect this level of quality. Even the instructions are well done. Be prepared for a serious time investment, but it’s totally worth it.

Good quality, great price.
Was really impressed with the quality of this set for the price seemed very close to the name brand included bags for each section not just one big bag of pieces, and had a clear and easy to follow instruction booklet I’ve just started building it but looking forward to finishing it and displaying it! I’ve also found that the bricks were small enough to be a little challenging without being too aggravating which is appreciated they are a good size. Also I’ve purchased a few sets on Amazon and this is by far the one with the best quality that I’ve come across and it was also one of the best priced so highly recommend!

Cheap plastic
Build was cute and fun to do. But moving it two months later from an in closed cabinet, it completely fell apart. All the brown colored parts have become super brittle and a bunch has broken. Not even super glue could save parts of the build.

Pretty but missing parts
So, this was a good set to work on and the end result is pretty. It was missing parts, one of them being a central part of the tree construction, but I found a workaround that worked. It would have been better with the original part, but I made do. This was easy to put together and I did have my trusty super glue for some parts that gave me a hard time (which is my new staple when doing builds). Overall, a good set but I hope if you get it you aren’t missing anything.

Very cute but has issues
When you open a box of legos and a tube of super glue comes out, that should set your expectations low as to how itâll hold together, lol. I did have fun with the challenge of the micro pieces and I love the design of it BUT it was missing several pieces, the design where the bottom of the tree trunk attaches to the top part is precarious at best and barely holds together with more than a light touch, the foliage does not hold tight to the bricks at all, and the images in the instruction are so dark I could barely see what the piece was 50% of the time. Thankfully I found creative alternatives for the missing pieces or they werenât needed structurally and I just went on without them. I refuse to glue legos so I handled it with kid gloves and was able to finish after about 6 partial rebuilds. Weird thing was that parts of the build are very well done and strong and then other parts were so poorly designed I knew it would come apart with more than a slight breeze. It was like 2 different people created the build.I gave 3 stars because I love the overall design, I did enjoy the challenge of the tiny pieces, and the price point is great. If I had paid more than $25 for this I wouldâve deducted another star.

Worth it!
Really cool looking set! As disclosed, the pieces are smaller than normal Lego and arenât compatible. This was a concern as I wasnât sure if all pieces would be there. Happy to report all pieces and extras are included. For the price, this is a must! I wish they made others to compliment this one, I would buy them too.

I really love this! It was not that hard to build some pieces were tricky to place because they are so small. Otherwise it looks so awesome and I can’t wait to hang it on the wall.
