Every house should have a scrabble board!

Great piece of kit to dial down scrabble anxiety in others and ger a fun non competitive game going..as well as playing classic scrabble.Great for beginners, elderly and kids, as well as folks who want the classic scrabble game..easy rules for community game, lots of support if you get stuck and the game moves along fairly quickly..no scoring, just completing the actions of the 3 seed cards..and a card help pile…all designed to teach the skills of scrabble as well as vowels, and consonants. Scrabble – A decent, friendly priced version of a classic game. Our house is overflowing with both traditional board and digital games. So it was a little strange that we were lacking Scrabble. I must say that Iâve never been attracted to it much, mostly because my counterparts in the family (without being specific) read and write in different quantities and thus have a more limited set of vocabulary while others are sesquipedalians – which happens tube one of my favourite Scrabble words, good for 26 points. So the thing with this game it that youâll need to find a partner of equal skill. Having said that itâs really good for our youngest as well to work and test his spelling even thought game is advised for children aged 10+.This a poorly presented set that includes 120 letter tiles, four racks, a letter bag and instructions. The box is fairly sturdy which is good for storage and the letter bag is really helpful as well. However the racks are plastic, and the letters are made of plastic as well and hollow on the underside. Other than some of the other reviews here the board isnât small; 36cm on each side, neither are the letter pieces too small. Iâm just comparing it to the decades-old Scrabble set that we keep at out second home that is made of wood elements and really nice by comparison. Still I canât complain too much given the £14 we paid for this, the educational value for the children and that it fills a family board game playing need (which I think is one of the best ways to spend your time in this digital age).
