    Wonderful Tea
Still getting use to the bitterness, but I have been feeling so good drinking this tea. My friend recommended that I don’t add anything to sweeten the tea as it would hinder the benefits. As bitter as the beverage may be by itself, I don’t find it that difficult to drink it on a daily basis. Keep in mind, this is coming from someone who isn’t use to drinking tea like this. I’m sure this would taste great to seasoned tea veterans. If nothing else, however, it isn’t nearly as difficult to drink as black coffee! Well, at least not to me.I’ve been drinking Publix’s bottled green tea inconsistently up until now. I would have loved to be able to drink it more often, but it was difficult for me to afford them due to their price and expiration date. I considered buying the bags and making the tea myself, but I wasn’t so sure if it was worth it. I did take a step out of my comfort zone in buying this as well, but my friend was so enthusiastic about the product that I just had to try it. I am so glad I did, too!One thing I was so happy to read about from another Amazon reviewer was how easy it was to brew using a Keurig. And it is; all I have to do is take a teaspoon of powder, put it in a cup, and fill it with hot water from the brewer. It’s so easy! I personally use the 8oz button since my model is older and doesn’t have the 10oz size. Since 6oz is less than the recommended amount, I definitely didn’t want to use the smallest cup size. Considering how much I’ve gotten tired of drinking coffee, I’m glad I can still put this brewer to good use. And I absolutely can’t drink coffee without creamer and sugar, so I’m probably making a healthier switch by going with plain matcha. As a source of caffeine, I am definitely not disappointed with this. Not only do I feel more awake, but I feel more alive than I do drinking anything else! Even when I was drinking coffee, I was still feeling kinda sluggish a while after drinking it and felt like I had to have more than one cup. With this tea, one cup is all I need to get me through the day. It’s even helping me with my insomnia! I’m not medically inclined enough to know how the tea works, but I definitely do feel healthier from drinking this. The person who recommended it to me would know how, but he just kinda explained the benefits to me in layman’s terms. But whatever it does, it definitely works! With how much benefit I’ve had in the little amount of time I’ve been using it, I’m really looking forward to experiencing what this tea does for me in the long run.I will definitely be recommending this matcha to as many people as I can. My grandmother is a much bigger tea drinker than I am, so I’ll definitely have her try a cup next time she visits me. I bet she would love to have this!

    Frothy green goodness!
My wife and I aren’t usually tea drinkers, but we’ve been hearing a lot about the health benefits of green tea and decided to give it a whirl. We heated up some milk and made ourselves lattes with a splash of vanilla coffee creamer and some honey and they were very tasty and very frothy! Not to be too personal, but I tend to be constipated off and on – I probably need to hydrate more, to be honest – but the next day after having some of the matchaDNA Powdered Matcha Green Tea latte, I went to the bathroom fairly effortless, so that was a nice benefit! The two of us are middle aged, and my wife has multiple sclerosis, so we are concerned about brain function – as well as cardiovascular health, preventing diabetes, lowering the risk of cancer and our dental health – so those are all good reasons for us to continue to use the Matcha Green Tea. And it does make a very good latte! We were really impressed that it comes in a resealable container and that you can just spoon it into your coffee, milk, or just plain hot water. And, being under 10 bucks, the price is very reasonable because you get a lot in the package!Once it runs out, we won’t hesitate to reorder some more and keep making frothy green lattes with it!

    Excellent quality
I am the type of person who shies away from Chinese products. However tea is one thing I’m very comfortable buying from China. Have you ever heard the expression “Not for all the tea in China”. Tea is one thing China does great. The history of tea and its relation to China is fascinating, but too long for a review. But tea is to China what coffee is to Colombia. When you steep tea, the heat can reduce the antioxidant levels. When you throw out tea leaves you are throwing out a good portion of perfectly good antioxidants. Matcha may cost more but you are putting the entire tea to use, wasting no antioxidants. Eating the entire leaf, cool or warm will have up to 100x the anti-oxidant levels as the brand “EatGreenTea” advertises.Matcha is a quite sweet leaf with very little bitterness. It is great added to smoothies, protein drinks, green drinks, or even sprinkled in veggie sandwiches.I drink tea daily, I love high-end teas, there is a difference. You can make a very potent, flavorful, and smooth tea with this powder, making it as strong or delicate as desired. In my opinion matcha the crem de la crem of teas. It makes making cold tea much quicker. Matcha from Japan used in tea ceremonies is too expensive for my blood, I just can’t justify it. I’m drinking tea for flavor and health benefits mainly, and I can’t really taste the difference between a $100 bottle of wine and a $20 bottle either.Hope that helps!

Honestly… The best I have found in the market! I requested more information on lead levels and processes used and I was well impressed. Second time I’ve purchased from them and will continue to do so for sure.Very quickly delivered too!

The matcha is uncut (sometimes hard to find) and of good quality and flavour, especially considering the price. Came in a large resealable pouch, which is nice for keeping it in the fridge or freezer.
