    My lad loves his bot
This is a brilliant idea, my lad loves scratch so I knew this would be a winner, he has lots of fun with it and the more he plays with it the more the bot does, it was easy to set up and we did it all from our phone and my lad has the app on his tablet, the battery is pretty decent on it too lasting at least afew times he plays with it, for the price we paid for it I’d say it’s good value for money, you definitely have to have patience at the start because you have to work with it so it does more and you can attach lego to it aswell which doesn’t tell you that in the description so that was a nice surprise so you can do even more with it, it’s a gift that keeps on giving because you can buy extras for it too, all in all I’d definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of buying for there little one, my lad is 8 and he gets on well with it, I helped him set it up but he doesn’t need my help now he plays with it on his own

A very nice and comprehensive robot.
It is very nice that it is compatible with the Scratch program. This robot will be very useful when teaching my daughter how to code. The manual explains it very well and in great detail. It can also be controlled and programmed with a remote control. It is definitely a versatile and enjoyable toy. It is a quality and durable robot. I definitely recommend it.

    high brow toy
I received: MatataStudio Coding Robot for Kids Ages 8-12, VinciBot Programmable AI Robot Toy Kit Remote Control Electronic Programming Robot compatible Scratch Python STEM Educational Toy Back to School Gift
I picked this up because my 8 year old is very into “Scratch” on the PC. He spends ages making apples move about and fill the screen or has a cartoon cat making high pitched noises.
He really enjoyed getting this robot to follow a path and got excited about the idea of attaching Lego to and programming the robot.
After a bit of fiddly setting up, it has proven to be quite an inspirational device.

    Amazingly VinciBot
In the box with the robot is a remote control, crayon pen for the robot to scan and imitate plus charge cable and instructions.
The robot will take some setting up to get working correctly.
To use the robot it must be connected to a pc via a USB cable and then programmed with the Matatalab software that uses simple diagram instructions to perform and execute the instructions one by one.
This robot features graphic and python programming platforms as well as AI and IOT Features.
There are so many effects and programming abilities that can be done with this robot featuring effects of sound, light and movement.
The robot itself is well built and has precise movement with high sensor accuracy and a long battery life that will last up to 4 hours.
Inside the robot it is equipped with 8 sensors and a 16 x 8 LED Matrix on the front of it to show different effects.
This robot is aimed at young children to give then insight into what simplistic programming can achieve through the robots actions and the fun and educational outputs it achieves.
Overall this is a high quality introduction robot for children and basic programming techniques plus how they perform and hopefully building them a path in the future for technology.

Really advanced robot teaching essential computer programming concepts
The world in the 21st century is very digital and teaching the mechanics of this to kids growing up into that world is not only a hard task but also an essential one. Whilst I’ve started on teaching them Scratch – rather than just seeing things on a screen this contraption takes things that one level further with proper interactive, creative play. It’s true that to use this robot, you do need to understand the basics of coding and it’s not designed to teach you the basics but to harness your skills and advance them through the creative play. I’d really call this robot a learning through play or an educational gift – but what you get is a really powerful, all singing and dancing bot (quite literally); It has motors to move the device, speakers to play basic and goes to really advanced levels like following a straight line through to speech and colour recognition so it can really grow with your child and perform some cool effects. You get a comprehensive pack of video materials to help get you started with ideas and what not but it’s the ability to explore and learn that keep this toy so amazing. The battery of the robot is around 4 hours and it’s rechargeable so given there’s a fair bit of coding time between iterations of runs this is more than suffice. Highly recommend!

fantastic toy thats compatible with LEGO
There’s loads of reviews telling you about the programming aspects of the robot but all of them have failed to mention that the robot is very compatible with Lego Bricks and technic elements too, so it can be combined with Lego motors and bricks to make some amazing machines that you can programme , it can also be combined with other bots too.
Perfect for young engineers in the making or kids into the STEM subjects or just for a bit of educational fun or for you MOC builders .

    Super, klare Kaufempfehlung!

  11. Overly Honest Reviews

This thing is amazing! I am impressed by all it can do and the fact that you are not just pressing pre programmed buttons on a limited toy. No, this is a legitimate robot for young children learning to code with an interest in robotics. There is an app for programming and writing your code that you can either download or go to their website. I was not able to get it to hook up to bluetooth, but to be honest, I put the minimal amount of effort into it without reading their directions, so that one is on me, not them. This is very well made, and high quality, and for what it is and what you can do with it, the asking price is a steal. And it charges very quickly, by the way. I believe you will get 4 hours out of a single charge. It comes with instructions, a book of challenges, a paper mat (that’s the only con so far – I do wish it was laminated) that’s a game board on one side and on the other side, there is a thick black line. Put the robot on it and it will follow that line. Or have it draw its own line to follow. Make it play a game, or sync up to do tricks with other robots, program a message on it instead of seeing “eyes” on the screen – Vincibot will do it! The possibilities are endless! My granddaughter is into robotics and will absolutely adore this, and it’s something her dad can teach her and work with her with, as she is only going to be seven. I am just starting to learn to code myself, but took a break from the very basic stuff I had learned (which I will now have to re-learn briefly) due to my schedule being so full, but when I looked at their simple coding, I was lost…(very sad). This is such a great teaching tool, that I so want to keep it for myself, especially for the robotics aspect of it. And their site says it’s great for learning the basics of AI as well. A young scholar can grow with this with all the potential this thing has. It’s amazing!! Do yourself a favor if you are unsure – go to their website and peruse it, read the entirety of the ad here, and check out their app (though you can’t do much on the app without signing in) – I think you will be just as impressed as I am.
I will update if the bluetooth connection is not successful, but I have a very good feeling that it will be fine. Until then, this is worth every dime and more and I highly recommend it!
