Perfect Pup Protection

Sturdy but lightweight.
I have bought three for my 13 yr old arthritic cat. He took to them immediately and can now climb back on the chairs and bed again without pain. Lightweight plastic crate style construction with pull over cover. Takes about 5 mins to erect. Good product.

Great Dog Steps
Had to write review of these dog steps. They are just great. Was a bit worried my dog would not use. They arrived with a toy. Put a treat at the top step which at first she eat at the side but within minutes was going up them to get. They are very light and can be moved around the house. They are soft but sturdy and do not move. Now you can get cheaper which have a mental frame but these can wobble.one wobble and my dog would not go near These are worth the price. Cover can also come off to be washed. Plus the toy was a added bonus. Would definitely recommend anyone to buy these

Who cut the foam?
As you can see by the picture foam isn’t cut straight, it rocks and doesn’t fit cover properly. Unusable for my dogs accident waiting to happen when there’s so much material not fitting properly.

Great for an elderly cat or very small dog
On the plus side this item is lightweight and the cover seems durable. It comes vacuum packed and takes a while to fill out. The steps themselves are pretty narrow, we’ve removed the top step completely so there is a bit of a platform to launch from. Our dog is small and weighs only 6kg but the steps deform quite markedly even under her weight, they return to shape after of course. I think for an elderly cat, or a dog weighing <4kg this would be OK, otherwise i think a better option would be steps of solid construction

Supportive steps for dogs
The gentle curving slope on these steps make them much easier to traverse than hard square steps – particularly if your dog’s body is longer than their legs (eg shih Tzu, daschund). The sponge is soft enough to avoid being harsh on their paws (like plastic steps would be); but also stiff enough to support the weight of my 9.5 kg dog without the paws sinking in (which would have made it more difficult for him to walk). The photo shows the level of the top step in relation to my bed (The Platform Bed by Get Laid Beds, and an Emma mattress, if you want to think about height), and my ageing Shih Tzu Lhasa manages it well, although there is an adjustment period as his habit of trying to jump or crying to go up or down (for a drink in the middle of the night, say) is needing to be broken.We’re at the stage now when he uses it in the middle of the night (oh the difference in my sleep! It’s amazing!) But sometimes needs reminding to use it during the day when I am not well.This is an expensive item but in terms of the value I get with better sleep, less crying (of us both, lol).If they made a larger one with a platform for window-viewing, I’d be interested in buying one. As our dogs age we want to make their later years as happy and comfortable as possible.

IDEAL FOR CHIHUAHUAS
We have 7yo chihuahua who likes jumping on and off the couch. However, our new couch is a few inches higher than the old one and his landings sounded terrifying on the laminate.I saw the various reviews complaining that it didn’t expand properly, the cover was loose and many people’s pets are too heavy for them and decided that at the very least he could use them as a crash pad when he hurtles his tiny 2.5kg body around.I received it the day after ordering and snipped open the packaging. I had read the description and saw it may need 48hrs to fully expand as it comes curled up and vacuum packed. It immediately began to unfurl so I decided to check the cover. The zip feels sturdier than I expected from previous reviews and goes around three quarters of the base so it should be easy to slip on and off for cleaning. The base also has some wee anti-slip patches so they don’t seem to be sliding about.After a quick demonstration and some encouragement (with treats) he went up and down with ease and has been using it regularly putting our minds at rest that he won’t hurt himself. Very happy with the purchase!

Facilissimo da montare (l’ha montato mio foglio di 8 anni senza istruzioni), esteticamente carino, forse la copertura rimane un pochino molle, ho risolto mettendo due gancini agli elastici negli angoli. Il mio gatto ha capito subito l’utilità dei gradini ed è stato molto felice di salire sul letto senza fatica!!! Ho preso quello con 4 gradini e si adatta perfettamente al letto con i cassettoni sotto. Consigliato!!

I had my doubts at first about the quality, but it is much better than expected. I own a Pembroke Corgi and needed this so she can climb onto the sofa instead of jumping. She understood what this was for and started using it right away.At first it comes rolled up in plastic and unfolds and decompresses once out of it. The cover is easier to put on when this process is still happening and comes with a handy zipper around the bottom.The foam is surprisingly sturdy for a corgi and it is the right height, coming up little from the seat height of our sofa.Very happy with this product. The colour on the image is also correct to what the product colour is.
