Nifty gadget
Living with an older car often means missing out on the bells and whistles of modern technologyâsomething we’ve recently overcome with a clever little device. When the lack of a contemporary entertainment system in our car became too apparent, we stumbled upon a Bluetooth transmitter that promised to bridge the gap between old and new.The device is a breeze to use; it simply plugs into the car’s cigarette lighter. Setup was straightforward, with a user guide that walked us through pairing our devices via Bluetooth. The magic of this gadget lies in its ability to transmit music from our phones directly to the carâs speaker system using the existing radio frequencies. While the specifics of the technology are beyond me, the user-friendly nature of the device made it simple to integrate into our daily drives.Besides music, the transmitter enhances safety with its hands-free calling feature. It lights up when in use and includes intuitive buttons on its screen for controlling volume and managing calls. This functionality has been particularly transformative in our 12-year-old vehicle, enabling us to enjoy modern conveniences like hands-free calls and streaming music directly from our phones. In summary, this transmitter is a fantastic solution for anyone looking to modernise an older car without breaking the bank. It’s a testament to how a small, affordable gadget can significantly enhance the driving experience by integrating seamlessly with both old and new technology. A highly recommended purchase for those in similar situations.

On a quest!
I am trying my best to find a hook up that will link my Ipod Classic to my new Truck. I used to have a radio transmitter years ago and it worked so I thought I would try this. Unfortunately I am still looking. The charger that goes into the cigarette lighter is just to charge your phone or hook up. Not sure why I thought it would work with my hook up for my IPOD. As for the product it works great with hooking up a bluetooth to a radio station. The lights can be adjusted so they will not be distracting and they are easy to use. Cord is sturdy and will last.

Feature-Packed Bluetooth Car Adapter for Safe and Fun Drives.
Unlike traditional adapters that plug into the car socket, this one mounts in the A/C vent, placing it closer to eye level. This simple but smart design makes it safer and more convenient to use while driving. The Bluetooth 5.4 FM transmitter delivers crystal-clear sound, and the CVC 8.0 noise reduction technology ensures calls are clear even in noisy environments. Switching between music and calls is effortless with its intuitive controls, and the vibrant LED light design adds a fun, customizable ambiance to your car.The sound quality is impressive, especially with the bass boost feature that transforms your music into an immersive experience. The fast-charging capability (PD36W and QC3.0) is a major plusâcharging my devices quickly and efficiently while keeping me connected on the go.Itâs compatible with a wide range of devices, including my smartphone and tablet, and automatically reconnects to previously paired devices, saving time. The built-in mic and voice assistant support (Siri/Google Assistant) make navigation and hands-free communication seamless. This Bluetooth car adapter is a great addition for anyone who spends time on the road. Itâs versatile, user-friendly, and enhances both safety and enjoyment while driving. Highly recommend it!

This car adapter is a big improvement
I recently got this new car adapter, and I really like it. Instead of plugging into the lighter, it clips onto the air vent, which makes it easier to use and keeps it out of the way.It has cool colorful lights that make my car look nicer. The sound is really good, and I can answer calls without taking my hands off the steering wheel. It also charges my phone really fast. I can easily connect my phone and play music through the car speakers.I’m really happy with this adapter. It’s a big improvement over my old one and makes driving more enjoyable.

A good product (if you like the styling) but a bit overpriced
This is an unusual design of Bluetooth car adaptor with a cigarette socket power supply and a large round display/control unit which clips onto the carâs air vent. It works well and paired easily with my phone. It has a micro SD card slot which allows me to play MP3 tracks through the car radio. The power plug has two charger sockets â a 36 Watt USB C port and a QC 3.0 port although thereâs no power rating listed for this. Unlike the photo on the Amazon product listing there are no labels on the power supply.I found the LEDs on the display/control unit to be too bright and distracting. There are a lot of Bluetooth adaptors for cars on Amazon and a lot of them are cheaper than this product. So although this is a good product (if you like the styling) IMO it doesnât offer anything over and above the cheaper products, hence my three star rating.

Bluetooth Car Adapter
This Bluetooth car adapter transmitter has a useful LED design and charges fast. It blasts radio music loudly in a good way, it’s mostly black and silver and it’s very easy to answer calls and end them.

Out of 4 or 5 cheap bluetooth adapters, this is the first one I have actually been happy with. For starters, the fancy LED lights can be turned off completely, which is wonderful. They are bright even in daylight, and are completely unacceptable at night. They have several options for color and how many are on, but thankfully, one option is just “off”. Further, it stays off once you shut off the car, so once you get it set how you want it you don’t have to mess with it again.FM transmission quality is good. No crackles or other weird noises. I have a minor complaint with how the music actually sounds….in “regular” mode there is almost no bass at all. Then you turn on the bass boost mode, and it’s actually too much base and makes it sound muddy or muffled. Using a combination of bass mode and adjusting the EQ on my car headset, I was able to get it about right. It’s not concern quality, but it’s good enough.Having the microphone on the “remote” thing is a good move also. in my car, the power port is way down low, and other BT units that put the mic on the power port don’t pick up my voice at all due to location. This one clamps onto a vent, right in front of my face. Callers say my voice comes through loud and clear, and background noise is on par with other systems (it’s fine).Overall, this BT adapter does everything good enough to be used every day. The EQ for music, specifically bass, requires a bit of tweaking to get right, but otherwise it works well and isn’t an annoyance. 5 stars here. Hopefully it lasts more than 6 months.

I have an older 2010 Nissan pickup that has no frills when it comes to technology capabilities but still drives just fine. It is my short trip/errand running vehicle and I like to take my smartphone along for the ride for all the usual reasons. It’s got a compact vent/dash arrangement with the cigarette lighter power port over on the passenger side. This adapter works well in the space available and I like that the coiled/tension part of the cord can be stretched a little to provide some slack without losing its function. I have a window-mounted phone holder and I was able to add the hands-free part of the unit to the vent that sits right next to it, making it very convenient for access while driving. I like that you have the option to turn on/off the color LED lights (as well as cycle through different modes if you want the light interaction) as they stay on even when the ignition is turned off so long as the adapter is plugged into the power port. It was very easy to set up and connect via Bluetooth to my Motorola smartphone as well as tune to the desired FM radio frequency. The gimbal-mounted vent clip has a firm grip and allows you a lot of positioning flexibility however the weight of it means you will likely lose the ability to significantly adjust the airflow from that particular vent. I like the ‘joystick’ haptics of the button that controls call answer/hangup/voice activation features (Google Assistant in my case) and was able to use all of the controls with the exception of the volume up/down. My phone didn’t respond to those but did respond to the next/last track selections when I had Amazon Music playing through the phone to the truck’s speakers. The base power plug has the option of using a USB-C or USB-A cable to also charge the phone and/or a 2nd device like earbuds and the USB-C registered as a ‘turbo charge’ power source on my phone while the USB-A did not. You have to provide your own charging cables to use those ports but that’s not a big deal for me. I did encounter some small issues when making calls around sound quality especially if the AC was on ‘max’ while trying to talk. Since it mounts to a vent, the airflow in such close proximity to the microphone had a muffling effect on the other end of the call according to multiple people I tested it with.

I have an 02 Chevy, and so an “aux cord” isn’t an option for me. This little plug and go is perfect for playing my own tunes whenever I want!I have not yet tested call quality on this. Will report back when I do.

Tried this out in an older Volvo that we own, a 2008 sedan. I was really hoping to be able to listen to music through it, and talk using bluetooth. Sadly, while the music sounded ok, the phone calls over bluetooth were terrible. My husband said he couldn’t hear anything I was saying. I’m bummed! It looks really cute.

This solves a problem Iâve had with our older Ford Exploder, where the cigarette lighter/power port faces the front of the car making any device, when plugged in, face away from the driver. The curly cord on this transmitter allows it to be placed on the vent and oriented toward the driver, and itâs long enough that it doesnât get in the way of the gearshift. Itâs lightweight and I donât have to worry that itâs going to fall off the vent. I like the âjoystickâ type toggle and the fact that I donât have to constantly glance down to utilize the functions. It was really simple to set up and I appreciate the two charging ports (USB-B and C.) The audio quality is adequate, not great, but itâs not exactly a high-end device. It does what itâs supposed to do, does it well, and Iâm overall very happy with it. I recommend it.
