I have a dog that gets very stressed about a lot of things & cutting her nails was extremely stressful for her & me, also the groomer & the vet who said the only option was doing them under anaesthetic. That isn’t something I was prepared to put her through, so not a long term solution at all. I’d heard about people using these hammocks to do the job, so I decided to give it a try. I was dreading doing it, but she was nowhere near as stressed as I expected, yes she did struggle a bit however not as much as doing the job without being suspended. Not only that, but I used an electric animal nail grinder, which worked very well, in fact the task was completed in a much shorter time than expected. This meant a much less stressful time for both of us & she had some treats afterwards as a reward. Now I won’t be dreading doing her nails in the future, so I’m very happy with this purchase.

My Labrador was not happy.
Cutting my Chocolate labs nails are a bit of a fight. I have a grooming table for clipping my Working Cockers. I put it on her and then got her on the table. I have stands both sides and one across. I got my lab on the table and started trying to clip in but she was not having it. I think my lab is not the grooming table kind of dog. If you have a maybe smaller dog and it might work. Sadly it did not work with me.
