Brilliant set
Had to drop a star as its missing a few pieces. I’ll wait until its built and then see if there’s any others missing. I wouldn’t let this put you off. It does take hours and hours and the pieces are tiny, but I do an hour or so to de-stress after work. Its the second model ( smoiny monastery is really qn excellent build too) and super relaxing

Hard to build
The pieces fit so tight together itâs almost impossible to build. I feel like Iâve got blisters on my fingers. Itâs so tight that the boards that it sits on are bending upwards so the piece doesnât sit flat. Some of the pieces even pop back up because they donât fit well. Very uncomfortable to build. Iâm so disappointed as the first one I bought from you was so good. It has made me not want to buy another one and waste my money.

I mean, also infuriating. But fun.The pros: detailed colour instructions. LOTS of extra pieces so if you lose one, meh. Fun use of shapes to create the birds and wall.The cons: building the tree was infuriating. All of those leaves in all those positions? Trying to figure out exactly where to add the leaves at the end was terrible. Thereâs also a weak point in the tree near the base of the trunk, so I ended up using a bunch of extra pieces to beef up that part. If you like little tiny tedious tasks to make something pretty, youâd like this! Iâm glad I bought the kit and made it. I especially loved adding the koi fish onto the pond at the end. Very fun!
