Very nice kit and beautifully presented
First things first … usually when I have purchased non-Lego building kits (e.g. MegaBloks) I have ended up with some of the off-brand bricks getting mixed into my huge Lego collection, which is very annoying and, I suspect, damages the bricks when different brands are connected together.
No such problems with this set – the mini bricks are significantly smaller than Lego, and this allows the assembled model to have a great deal of intricate detail. As the item description says, this is most definitely a building kit for teens or adults – due to the smaller size parts, it would probably be rather frustrating for the younger builder.
First impressions – the packaging is way nicer than Lego – a proper very sturdy box with removeable lid, which can be opened and closed without damage. Inside are many separate bags for the multiple building stages, and an extremely professionally produced building manual. All very encouraging.
The bricks themselves are made in a very interesting range of colours. The material feels slightly different to Lego but all is fine here. They are a slightly tight fit so the assembled result is very sturdy.
I haven’t finished building this yet, but it’s been great fun so far, especially helped by the excellent instructions. I’m looking forward to adding the finished item to my display cabinet.

Excellent level of detail
I thought this was a result interesting set as an alternative to Lego. I would say it is definitely more suited to adults as the level of detail is outstanding. The pieces are also much smaller than Lego in general so can be a bit fiddly but the instructions are good and easy to follow. The end result is great for displaying.
