If you’re looking for an honest review, here it is! I have a Maltipoo and a Frenchie, and let me just tell you, my Frenchie sheds like crazy. I was able to brush/comb her very thoroughly with one of the attachments and the fact that it brushes and vacuums at the same time is wonderful. There was minimal hair, I didn’t have to vacuum afterward- due to the vacuum while you’re brushing and she sheds far less than she ever has before. I simply use this once a week to brush/comb her and it makes the hair clean up during the week little to none. This worked amazingly on my Maltipoo as well. I’ve never cut her hair by myself before, but, I simply attached one of the guards to the shaver, turned on the vacuum and literally shaped her entire body with this thing in about 5-7 minutes. It was actually quite amazing…and again, no clean up or hair to sweep up. You simply take the little vacuum container and empty it into the garbage, and it holds a lot of hair. Super lightweight, easy to store and comes with a lot of attachments! I highly recommend this to everyone…even if it’s just to minimize shedding. I LOVE my groomer, but, I’m seriously considering saving money and continuing to do it myself, or switching every other month.

Works well for dog brushing/ grooming. Not as loud as a normal vacuum. Problem I have noticed, is you cannot buy replacement filters.

I have 2 pups one is thich corse hare and the other is much softer and thinner. my Boy Dog who is thicker, was the test to see how well it worked. Now he has always been learrie about anything you come at him with until he decides it is ok or feels good, as he has figured out the brush is ok but the the undercoat tool is not so much. so we had to test it on him a couple of times doing small patches in one of his beds while he was relaxed. after about the 4 or 5th time he calmed down with it and now loves it. it is quieter than a fan on low making almost no noise but the sound of the air at the head being sucked in. I personally would like him to be shaved as close to the skin in the summertime, because being solid black he gets to overheated when he goes out and it tak0es a long time for him to cool back down when he comes in. but with the closest the guides allow us to get it better than not doing it. Now I am certainty no “Pro” and I am Sure I will get better, as you will see it does leave track lines in the shape of the comb, in his fur. I have not figured out yes how to minimize this, I go in multiple directions and no matter what there are track line that take about a day or so to smooth out on their own. on the low setting my boy dog will tolerate it because it has no sounds coming from them like a vacuum or the buzz of the clipper. If you have a dog who is bothered by like sounds this will help you because these do not have that.

My two small dogs require periodic grooming, and the one that needs it most often, my maltese/pomeranian mix, also hates it the most. (The other one has the sort of hair that is quick and easy to clip, and all the more so since I bought this set!) We live out in the country where professional grooming just isn’t convenient or realistic, so I try to do them myself. I have a nice set of clippers, but find myself having to push the hair into them to get them to clip his fine cottony coat, and it’s slow, tedious, makes my back and feet hurt from the extensive standing, makes a hairy mess no matter how careful I am, and makes us both super cranky.I ended up setting this vacuum groomer up on the side table beside my chair in the living room. It’s compact enough not to be in the way, and I can groom my dogs a little at a time while they sit on my lap, without making any mess whatsoever. When either of us loses patience, I just stop. The vacuum sucks the hair into the clipper, so it ends up cutting far better than my conventional clippers, and it has turned out to be the perfect solution for us. Granted, my malti-pom is eternally partially groomed, but neither of us cares, and it’s far better than alternating between a tangled ball of fluff after I’ve procrastinated too long about clipping him, and a bald weirdo because it’s the only way I could manage to clip him once he became that tangled ball of fluff.

I have often taken my Australian labradoodle to get groomed or either done it myself. It costs almost $200 to groom her at the groomer and at home it takes 4 hours for an entire groom and bath. Terribly hard and the mess, man! Well this was a life changer. I enjoy grooming her again!! So easy and she looks beautiful! The only con is that the bin where the hair goes is kinda small. It had been 6 weeks since a groom for her and I had to dump it twice during the groom. That’s one 55lb dog body only (not head) hair filled it twice and a half. So yeah. The suction becomes less when it’s super full too.It is really great though that the shaver doesn’t get clogged if your dog has cottony or curly hair bevausw it’s constantly sucking it up. So that is SO nice. That’s the major benefit. The mess is so much less. Like so much. Some gets out but you just suck it up with the open vacuum end. No big deal!! Love it! If you are super into grooming you can’t quite do the entire dog with this. I really just use it to shave the bulk off her body. For her head ears feet and tail I have to use scissors which is normal so it’s all good! Really love this. Only took me two hours to do her entire self! Love that!!
