I got this for my 2 year old son, and he would honestly sleep in it if he could. It’s super cute, you can create so many different flexible little worlds inside, and it seems like it will stand up to his enthusiastic play.Took me about 30-40 minutes to assemble, not the 20 it says. I’m pretty good at assembling things so I was surprised that it took longer than they anticipate. Pieces went together pretty easily, instructions were mostly clear, and everything was included except a Phillips head screwdriver and flagpole.It’s super cute and large – I have the Step 2 kitchen and was actually able to put it inside along with some little plastic chairs. I’m 5’7 and fit inside it easily, so it will definitely work for kids up to 7 or 8 I’d say.Lots of fun features including windows that open, a mail slot, and the half door (it doesn’t latch but that’s not an issue for me).It doesn’t come with a flag although it does have a flag holder, so I’ll have to make one of those. There’s also no floor, so I put a kids rug underneath which worked perfectly. There’s not a lot of decoration (no stickers like the usual kids stuff) but there are plenty of places you could add your own. Also, we stuck a battery powered light in the ceiling so it would be fun at night too, and it’s super cute.

I bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter and have it sitting on our outdoor deck. I read several reviews about this playhouse being cheap. The plastic walls are a bit flimsy, but when you put the entire thing together it’s sturdy. It’s not heavy so it’s easy to move around. That’s a plus. There are screw holes in the bottom of the playhouse if you want to screw it down to a flooring deck (plywood). Assembly wasn’t too bad. The two door side pieces need to slide into each other (top into bottom). The instructions say to use dish soap to add some lube. I didn’t, but I was still able to work the pieces together although it wasn’t as easy. Other than that, the playhouse was very simple and easy to build. The only issue I have is the flag mounts (one on each door side). The playhouse doesn’t come with a flag so I thought I’d make one using a wooden dowel. You need to be very careful with this because the flag pole will slump down a bit when put into the pole holder. This might make the end of the pole the level of a child’s eye. So, I decided not to use a flag. I think if you get a really short flag pole and put a knob on the end it’d be safer. Either way, my granddaughter didn’t notice the flag missing and used the mounting bracket to hang a bucket with her toys. Children are very resourceful. Overall, we’re very pleased with this playhouse and my granddaughter loves it. However, I may have to build a rain proof cover over my deck. My granddaughter want’s to go outside to play in her house even when it’s pouring rain. LOL!

Absolutely adorable, easy to assemble, wicked fun to decorate/customize
I purchased this playhouse for my niece’s 2nd birthday. After reading many, many reviews, and watching way too many videos, I figured out how I wanted to decorate both the inside and the outside. This playhouse is big enough for an 8 or 10 year old to play it (or read/watch a movie). At 5’7″ I was able to sit inside the house comfortably while attaching the interior decorations. You know that joke about how toddlers prefer the box a gift comes in? Yeah, not the case with this playhouse. She was hopping around, and even took her binky out to exclaim how cool her new house is. I added foam mat flooring as there is no bottom to the house; attaching battery-powered lights to the walls was easy with heavy duty double sided tape; the roses and vines were attached using a glue gun.The playhouse is cool enough on its own, but it’s also pretty cool to know that it’s so easy to decorate and customize for the tiny human in your life. I highly recommend this item!

I’ve bought a number of these little tikes houses and they are all great. The kids love them and they are easy to build. A few hours is the most you will need. They hold up well as they are plastic and the kids slam the doors when they come in and out of the house. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more of these houses to create a village. These work well inside the house and outside.

It’s very durable, it has been rained on and snowed on and stays super dry inside. It’s easy to put together and looks just like the pic when set up. Very pleased with it
