Genuinely delighted
I read all the reviews that said it was surprisingly good for the price, so decided to give it a whirl. Having dropped my phone in cheese sauce, anything at all would have been an improvement sound-wise.When I opened it up, it felt reassuringly heavy and well-made. Itâs not an important factor, but itâs also very pretty! Easy to use, easy to set up, and genuinely really great sound. Itâs not a high-end sound system, true, but for a little speaker itâs absolutely brilliant. We listen to audiobooks, music and spoken word through it. The sound quality is much better than my (admittedly cheesy) iPhone, and much clearer at volume than our Echo Dot. It can handle a great level of volume & is properly portable, being pocket / palm sized.Iâm really delighted with it.

Great Quality
This was a brilliant buy and great value for money. It is fairly compact which I like as it means it’s easily portable and will definitely be taken away with me in my handbag. It was very simple to set up. It connected to my iphone without any hassle. I was worried given it’s size that the music quality might not be good but it was fabulous. It remains clear even at higher volumes. It is also pretty to look at in the rose gold colour and with the LED. The controls are also all on the bottom of the speaker so it doesn’t interfere with the overall look. Very impressed.

Looks great, sounds great, volume control needs improvement
I bought the speaker for my bathroom. It pairs successfully with my echo dot. My only negative point is that the volume control button also controls the next track function. I find that adjusting the volume often results in accidentally shifting tracks and I can’t reach the desired volume. The base line volume seems very quiet when paired and doesn’t reflect the volume of the echo dot. The volume doesn’t increase significantly using the volume control. That said, the speaker can produce a good volume level with good sound quality but I have to turn up the echo dot to achieve this. The speaker and its presentation box look far more premium than you would expect for the price tag and the blue led ring is a classy feature. This can be switched off to extend battery life. Overall pretty happy and great value, just wish the initial volume after pairing with the echo dot was louder.Update: I have corrected the issue of low volume when switching the speaker on by creating a routine on the echo dot. When I say ‘bathroom speaker’ the volume is automatically increased before my music is played. This saves me having to keep manually increasing the volume on the echo dot every time I pair with the speaker.

A powerful little speaker for the price
This is an all in all brilliant little speaker for the price. I based my decision to buy based upon previous reviews but was still slightly dubious about it because how could such a cheap speaker omit such a great sound? Turns out the other reviewers were accurate in their reviews as it really does pack a punch for something so small and lightweight.It was really easy to set up as well, it didnât really require the use of instructions, everything is pretty straightforward, the only slight issue we had was figuring out the volume control, but actually it turned out to only take about 5 minutes of heat scratching…Another cool feature is the fact that it lights up, it creates a small circular light around it that is really cute in the dark and allows you to see exactly where it is.We intend to use this outside in our garden in the summer when we hold bbqs etc so weâll see how it holds up over the next few months but all in all itâs a great little gadget for now.

What you’d expect from a cheap speaker
Initially feels solid but buttons are lightweight and plasticy. Volume control is a pain when playing from memory card as single press skips track and longer press is needed for volume, which goes up and down too fast to control accurately. Sound is okay, haven’t really tested it out, as using this as a baby sleep aid. Not expensive so you get what you pay for.
