Great product, enjoyable build with character
I bought this product as I was in the market for medieval Lego sets. The product is certainly worth the price and makes a fine addition to my collection.The quality of the pieces is as good as you would expect. Not on the level of Lego-branded products, but comes very close. The instructions are clear and easily understandable. The design is excellent. Each angle of the build has character and depth.The only issue with the set is that the build is compartmentalised into 4 sections and not into 15 as you would expect from a traditional Lego set of this size. As a result, I ended up having 600+ pieces on the table at times. This isn’t a problem and in fact, enjoyed the change but some users may find this frustrating. Another thing is that the set does not come with any minifigs, this is understandable and I’ve rather enjoyed shopping about for some that fit the build.I would recommend this to any Lego fan, especially to those of medieval sets.I would also be interested as to if a light kit is available for this set.

A great build for playing with, sitting on a shelf or adding to your lego/brick medieval city. Lots of details and fun to build. The price is also great for what you get. Yes, it is not the big name brand lego, and it might not be as polished as a lego product, but it is a LOT less expensive. Sadly while lego is very high quality, it keeps getting more and more expensive while giving less. This is an excellent alternative. You would end up paying almost double if it had “lego” stamped on the box. I am happy with it, and I own a ton of actual lego.The one downside with this kit was that it was missing 3 little pieces. So I sent a message to the company and they responded right away. Not only did they get back to me right away, but they also made sure that I got the parts asap. They also made sure to keep in contact with me to know it had been sent as well as a tracking number, even though it was just three tiny parts. Very professional and great to deal with. While you think something like this would never happen with lego, that is not true. I bought a $350 from lego lately and it was missing 2 pieces. So even the big guys make mistakes.I will be buying from them again as I really like the different kits they sell and that they don’t cost an arm and a leg. And I know that if I do have problems, they will fix it right away.

Okay, I knew this wasn’t Lego, but since Lego doesn’t really make medieval stuff, I have to look elsewhere. This bakery was similar in style to the Lego blacksmith they just retired. The instructions weren’t the best. Some parts they say to put a and b together, and then in 10 steps it’s says to put another piece in that you could have included with a and b. It wasn’t impossible, obviously. But the instructions could have been infinitely more efficient.That said, pretty much my only gripe. I didn’t like the string parts for the hook. That was kind of frustrating.But all in all it was a challenge I could meet. The inside is “cute” as my wife calls it, with all the details this set has.The bricks don’t all fit together perfectly, but whatever it’s cheaper than Lego but still scratches the itch.The modular portion of this is also just okay. When you take the middle off the bottom, the archway tends to separate. Not the end of the world but that could have been made stronger.Overall, a good build. Bought the JMBricklayer tavern. So clearly I like this enough to buy more from them.
