This set was a really great purchase. Be aware that the chasen bamboo whisk is made by hand , the bristles are meant to be thin and a few will break with normal / correct usage. it is meant to be replaced every few months , the directions will explain and are useful. I use it gently, discard the few peices that break off occasionally . I have yet to replace mine and its basically almost lasted a whole year.

Awful quality. I assumed its gonna be not so great quality because it was 15 bucks for spoon, whisk, and strainer. But there is a giant crack in the middle part so when I soaked it in hot water, the crack caused the tines to curl inward, forming an “X” shape. This is unacceptable, and unusable. Also the fact that i have to waste time returning and wait just to receive another bad quality whisk? No thx, save you money.
