Best thing ever if you are working from home and doing video calls
I bought this as I work from home doing interviews and this was a game changer as most stands can fall over. This is easy to attach and really sturdy for any phone.

Once connected to laptop the arm that holds the phone comes loose and just drops down. Very poor.

This is one of those things I didnât know I wanted until I got it and started using it. Very nice to have my phone as a second mini-monitor.
I use this thing with my HP Chromebook. I bought the silver one because Amazon has only two choices. However, the package for the device says it also comes in gray (which I would prefer), red, and blue.
Before mounting, itâs important to test-fit it with the laptop closed first; when itâs folded, it is somewhat long and could stick out over the edge if not placed correctly.
A good feature is that it works on either side of the monitor; being left-handed, I was certain it would only be right-handed. My iPhone 14 has the âOnâ switch on the right side of the phone, so itâs against the monitor when mounted, and not easily used.
The magnet holds my iPhone 14 with the leather Apple case rock-solid. I didnât need to use the enclosed metal ring. The sticky on the monitor case is also solid.
Iâm not thrilled with the look of the device on my sleek computer, but Iâm sure a clip-on mount would be bulky and unslightly. Itâs a good compromise.

We ended up buying two and attaching them so they can swing up. This way we were able to attach a second portable monitor on top of the laptop. It wasn’t super stable and needed to be propped up, but made for a really nice portable workstation.
