Amazing product
This has to be one of the best beard balm conditioners. The way it breaks down when you rub it, and how it applies to your beard is so nice! Keeps my beard looking good and feels nice.

Really Good, does what you would want it too
Have used a few brands and keep coming back to this one.
Yes it is expensive, however feels like a quality product and a little goes a long way.
The smell is OK not really my preferred scent however its pretty mild and I only really notice it when I open the tin. Appling is as simple as getting a small pea sized amount rubbing through my finger tips and applying to my beard, followed a quick brush to make sure the hairs are all covered an the beard looks good.
Can be used with an oil too if that’s your thing too.
In the tin it does look a little bit bity however it doesn’t feel in when in the fingers or the hair. Consistency wise is not too hard like a wax and not super soft like a cream somewhere in-between the two.
My beard is relatively short but have grown out a bit longer too and this does seem to tame the hair, moisturise the hair and skin and reduces any itchy or scratchy feeling that I had prior to putting anything in my beard and I do notice after a day or 2 if I do not apply.

Hasnât made my beard soft.
Was recommended this by my barber. Iâve been experiencing dry, rough hair that would occasionally fall out and feel really dry and hard. A lot of mixed reviews on here. However, the balm is very soft (I was expecting it to be hard), so a small pea amount was used and it pretty much covered my beard (medium size beard). Thereâs no smell to this balm which isnât a problem for me as I use beard oil which is scented. Iâve been using this religiously since I brought it (about a week, once every morning after my face has been washed and beard dried) and my beard isnât really soft, there is some softness but not fully soft and it soon becomes dry and brittle again. I wear mask daily due to work so whether the mask is one of the causes for dry beard amongst other reason Iâm not sure. I use to have soft beard when I was using mariner jack beard balm and apothecary 87 oil, so whether I need to go back to basic and see if that help. Other than that, the tin is quite big and for £22 is quite expensive, would be nice if it had some instructions. I have tried several balms and oils as well and still havenât achieved softness!

One of the best
This is a real beard balm, not a lame excuse for one like other products.
Smells nice and lasts most of the day.
I have a really thick beard so need a good product that liquifies when rubbed in the palms and worked into my beard, then can be brushed in and holds my shape and style.
Highly recommended.

Expensive. Much better products available. Not impressed.
Gave this a punt after being touted as the balm of all balms, but have to say after a few weeks I’m disappointed. You can tell its quality, but from my experience balms and waxes of half the price are far superior and last much longer, both in terms of throughout the day and the tin itself.
Okay, I can tell it has nice ingredients and its not grainy like some cheaper balms, but that’s pretty much the end of the good points for me. Others clearly disagree based on the positive reviews, but I can’t help thinking that people have been swayed by positive reviews and not actually tried other products from lesser known brands.
The bad points, in my experience.. I think it’s important to share these issues as £20+ is a lot to pay for a tin of disappointment;
My beard feels horribly dry leaving me dehydrated and guzzling water throughout the day and having to moisturise.
It’s super greasy on your hands after applying. My routine is beard then hair and usually quickly wiping on the towel does the trick, but this stuff needs washing off your hands otherwise its a greasy hair day.
The scent is nice, albeit unique for a balm however mixing with aftershave smells just damn weird like some kind of herbal cleaning product.
It has pretty poor hold after an hour or so with odd hairs pinging out of place.
My beard feels hard, wirey and rough to the touch by the end of the day. Yep, no kisses from the missus with this stuff chaps.
The consistency is smooth and silky, which on first impressions seems good but its really hard to get the right thumb cut out the tin, so I have to keep messing around with the quantity. Most balms are thumb in, scrape and go.
And then again, it’s that price and the fact there are WAY better balms out there that hold well, smell less invasive over your aftershave and don’t leave you feeling like you’ve just woke up hungover in the desert half way through the day.
Shop around chaps, there is a whole range of better products out there.

quality soft balm, good ingredients
decent value buttery balm, melts instantly and has a nice herby scent, a little like jaegermeister imo
great conditioning and well chosen ingredients
its a good buy, though more of an at-home scent than a work one, for me anyway

Here is the description people:
Honest Amish Beard Balm is created from the finest organic ingredients available. We start with a proprietary blend of hair strengthening botanical infused in a base of Virgin Argan, Avocado, Almond, Virgin Pumpkin Seed, and Apricot Kernel Oils. It is then masterfully crafted with fruit and nut butters (Shea, Aloe, Cocoa, Kokum, to name a few), and hair enhancing essential oils. Subtle scents of Cedarwood, Anise (licorice), and Clove. We recommend that people with nut allergies avoid this product or test a small amount before application. Honest Amish Beard Balm will help soften, condition, dry splitting hairs, and nourish new growth. Our balm is also very conditioning for your skin and will stop the itching caused by new growth and wild rogue hairs. Due to the use of only natural ingredients in our beard balm, separation of the product may occur when exposed to fluctuations in temperature. The beard balm will continue to work as normal; it will just require a few extra seconds of manipulation when melting in your hands. However, to return it back to a smooth consistency it can be melted back down by placing the beard balm in a warm place (direct sun light, in car, heater vent, etc. Do not use open flames, microwaves, or stove tops) Once melted, secure the lid on your beard balm and shake it up, mixing up all the oils. Then allow to cool to room temperature or place in refrigerator for faster solidification. Beard Balm may liquefy in transit USE CAUTION WHEN OPENING. We use absolutely NO man made chemicals or preservatives and NO fake fragrances or colorants in any of our products. Packaged in a 100 percent recyclable tin. Made in The U.S.A. by hand for an honest wage. If you are not 100 percent satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please return it for a full refund.
With that said. It explains most of your complaints in the 3% and 7% categories.
My review so far:
*Consistency is exactly what is expected for balm.
*Scent is great and have gotten a ton of feedback from peers and family. Smells great, bottom line.
*Stops itching as noted as it gets to the root of your beard. Just make sure you put a little bit on your fingers then rub it around to make it clear, then apply throughout your beard and to the roots of your beard. Important.
*I use a beard brush to manage my curly beard and is recommended as I saw complaints in the poor reviews about this. If you have stray hairs, train them with a beard brush and a blow dryer on medium heat, not HOT!
Overall, this is a great beard balm! Natural, full of fine ingredients and made in USA. Not sure where the tin is made, but probably Chinese(I would like clarification on this). Looks to be aluminum tin but not sure.
In then end for those that say it does not work, opinionated statement and based on your beard type. For those that say use “conditioner” same affect, well, a ton of store bought poorly made conditioners have all type of chemicals and manufactured oils that can dry your beard beyond belief. Conditioner chemicals comprise of Benzyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Alcohol, Propyl Alcohol and Ethanol. Parabens are also used with preservatives that can cause skin sensitivities, so watch out people! For those that say, it melts, changes color, etc., well, place/store in a cool area, do not expose to heat! Its’ common sense people, stop giving poor reviews and if you do, you can return for a full refund.
This is my first time buying this product and have no affiliation with the product, but when you state what you do in the reviews please educate yourself to substantiate your claims.
Review closing comment:
*Great product, smells absolutely nice, paste is great and works well in beard in my opinion and many others.
Feel confident purchasing. If you do not like it, return it. Really easy folks!

Picture as proof –
Worth the money spend. Too good. Does a perfect job. I have noticed better beard growth using it

The product’s texture is damaged and doesnât look as it should, which is disappointing because I really loved everything else about itâthe scent, the packaging. I wish it wasn’t the case.
