Decent Shaver, but Doesn’t Cut as Close as Expected
This is quite a comprehensive kit, containing many attachments. The quality of the items is generally good, with excellent finishing and detailing. The shaver itself is light and compact. One thing I noticed straight away was how quiet it is compared to all of my other equivalent shaversâit really does purr in comparison. Letâs just hope itâs still purring after several months of use.Personally, I donât use the clip guards and prefer to shave with the bare blade attachments. My only gripe is that this shaver does not cut as close as the others I own. Itâs quite noticeable, especially if I re-shave an area with one of my other shavers.The base station for this shaver is quite large, so youâll need to clear some space if you plan to use it. It charges via a USB-A connector, but youâll need to provide your own charger.All in all, itâs not a bad shaver and comes with plenty of combs and attachments. I would recommend it, but with the caveat that you may still look like you have a five oâclock shadow after shaving with the bare blade.

Comprehensive set, ideal present
This is a very comprehensive trimmer set that should cover all of your grooming needs. It comes in an attractive box so would make a nice present for someone. It comes with a docking tray that allows you to store various attachements along with the trimmer or you can use the standalone docking station for charging. Only one power cord is supplied so you can only use one of the other. There are blades for body grooming, including sensitive areas, hair, beard, a nose/ear hair trimmer and precision detailing blades. There is also a handy drawstring bag so that you can pop all you need into it for your travels.

The grooming kit is well equipped with a plethora of trimming and cutting apparatus. The main body of the shaver is ergonomic to use, and the different heads are useful for cutting all types of hair without nicking the skin. The different attachments are a little tricky to change, although once you get the hang of it itâs relatively simple. The charger comes with 2 separate charging stands which is useful.On a less positive note the âcleanâ shave attachment is quite flimsy, and came apart after a couple of uses and had to be manually put back together. Not sure about durability then.

This is good. Itâs one of those âdo it allâ kinda kits that does everything except make you a cup of tea in the morning. Most of it youâll never use. But the core components are fine for the average guy who just wants to trim a few hairy parts.

The motor is good, not hugely loud and holds good battery, it’s easy to hold, and cuts quite nicely, especially when it’s new and sharp. It comes with a bag if you need to travel, the holding base is pretty wide as these things go so may require a bit more space. It’s easy to switch the combs and has all you need for face hair and body.

Takes care of my thick dense facial hair without any pushback at allOn my face, I have always hated shaving. I don’t go into an office or anything on a daily basis so I often go weeks without shaving. I also dislike the look of beards. lol, conundrum. When I finally decide to shave, the hair is far too dense to use just a blade. I need an electric trimmer. With this trimmer with the smallest blade and no guard, I can just attack my face and the hair comes off with no pushback at all. It gets the hairs almost down to the skin. It’s small enough to groom just the moustache hairs to the lip line, if that’s what you want to keep, or to get right underneath the nostrils and draw down to get rid of that stache too. Many grooming tools don’t allow the blade to fit under the nostrils leaving a wisp of long facial hairs there. When sweeping up the sideburns into the actual hair on my head, it had no problem with long real hair. I had my partner use it against the back of my neck as well, getting into the real hair with no issue at all, guard or none.I have a separate electric groomer for body hair because body hair is more sparse and the skin around it (especially on the bits) is more sensitive. This kit includes blades and guards for that purpose, I just use a different product. Having two kits also allows me to go from head to toe without changing blades and guards on either machine.This kit has a USB charging cable to plug into, but the end of the cable that plugs into the trimmer is proprietary. That’s frustrating because if that cable ever gets misplaced, the entire trimmer kit becomes e-waste. There’s no reason it could not have been built with a standard USB connector on both ends.

I like this trimmer a lot! It comes with two bases; the larger base doubles as an organizer which is very nice. All the cutting heads feel solid and well-made. I didnât experience any issues with hair getting caught, pulled, or unevenly cut. One feature I really appreciate is the “time left” indicator, which shows how much battery life remains. It is really nice to see if you need to recharge before shaving so you don’t end up with it half-finished and a dead battery. Overall, itâs a great trimmer with high-quality cutting heads and useful features.

This trimmer looks sleek and comes with everything you need. It’s super easy to use, even for a beginner. However, it really struggled with my thick hair. It felt like it was combing more than cutting. I’d recommend this for someone with finer hair.

My old trimmer was failing, and it was time for a new one. I don’t do a lot of body hair trimming, but I do keep my facial hair trimmed, and use nose hair trimmers and edging a lot. This kit includes pretty much everything you might need for trimming!First and foremost, this is one of the quietest and smoothest operating trimmers I have ever seen! The different sized trimming blades are nice, but if you want to trim to a particular length, you’re pretty much locked into the larger hair blade. The trimming action is consistent and thorough. The trimming blades, when used without the length attachments, don’t cut hair as close to the skin as some other trimmers I have used, but the blades are comfortable, and there is no worry of cutting yourself.The battery life seems solid, and the best feature is that it is waterproof, since I do all of my shaving and trimming in the shower. So I am really pleased with my new trimmer!

This is one of the most versatile kits I’ve seen.It’s got two charging bases, though only one cord, and the larger of the two also organizes a lot of the cutting heads and guide combs.The cutting heads all feel well made and fairly heavy duty. I didn’t have any issues with hair not getting cut or getting caught and pulled with any of them.The time left is a nice touch so you can know if you want to attempt a larger area with the battery you have left.The only thing I’ve seen so far that has felt cheap is the guide for the body trimmer head. it’s pretty thin plastic and barely holds on to the head and as you use it, it creaks and pops. I honestly don’t expect it to last long, which is a bummer because the body head works great and I don’t necessarily want to go down to the skin in some places.It comes with a flimsy bag, but I think that’s more to keep the guide combs in more than anything. Doesn’t really feel travel worthy and kind of needs a case if you’re going to take it on the road.
