Clue – a Vintage Game with New Characters
Kids loved it (they are 7, 8, 10 years old) and play it all the time since receiving it this Christmas from me as one of their gifts. Lots of fun and exciting to watch the methods they use to deduce and figure out who ‘dunnit’. Love the new characters, some the same names but characters look different. Love the new story line, too. Kids just are having a blast playing this game.

Clue meets the 21st century
I’ve played this board game with old and young players alike, veterans and newbies and everyone is very pleased with the experience.I had only seen but not played the original clue so I have no idea how the gameplay compares but the gameplay of this version is wonderful.It is easy to set up, and the rules are easy to understand. The materials are very sturdy and the board feels smooth. I love the feel of the accessories and nothing has gone wrong in the nearly one year I’ve had it. Definitely worth the purchase.

Great game to play with kids!
I purchased this game as part of a birthday gift for a six year old boy I nanny for. We have so much fun playing with this game with his younger sibling, and it actually makes them learn important life skills such as deductive reasoning, patience, and how to keep a poker face! Much better than video games or television. The parents are very happy with this activity. We all enjoy it!

FUN game, but consider downloading original rules for reference
FUN GAME!!! We’ve played 2 nights in a row with our 7 yo daughter (I’m so lucky I’m to her left, heh heh). The only issue we had is that the instructions are very concise, but almost too concise if you’re new to playing (like we were). I suggest downloading the original Clue rules from Hasboro website, as there is more explanation of the rules and they even give examples to teach the point. For example, the new game instructions briefly mentions the secret passages (kitchen <-->study AND lounge<-->conservatory), but wish it was clearer how you were allowed to use the secret passages. The old instructions explains it clearly–once you get into kitchen, you can’t use the secret passage to the study until your next turn (trust me, this was an issue… bc I “won” the game when I shouldn’t have, LoL… that why we looked up the original rules!!!). The old instructions also give some helpful strategies under “special notes.” I do like the Clue Cards for this version, as it brings an extra element to the game. Highly suggest the game, it’s so so fun, but just get the original instructions to reference!!!!!
