Good Fragrant Matcha
I use this matcha to make lattes, and it was perfect for that. The matcha aroma is very nice, and the flavor is good. I use about 1 tablespoon, mix it with some hot water, and stir until the matcha is frothy. Afterwards, I mix it with milk, vanilla extract, and sugar. The final result is really tasty. Personally, whether I use ceremonial grade matcha or this organic matcha, the latte tastes pretty much the same. The matcha comes in a sealable pouch and has an expiration date of June 2025, so about two years.Overall, the matcha flavor is good, and the smell is fresh. This matcha is great and makes an excellent latte.

The company added it to the Amazon listing but it is nowhere on the package.Flavor not as good as other matcha on Amazon.I got a refund – not worth it at all.

Smooth!
Let’s start by me admitting… I don’t have a proper matcha setup. The whisk and the ceremony of it is new to me. I just know this drink from the store bought lattes. Compared to that this is a HUGE upgrade. This is ranked ceremonial grade and I don’t really know what that means. From the perspective of a tea drinker though I don’t believe this is aged and it certainly doesn’t taste different from the core flavor of matcha in anyway. I do want to note, as others have said, this really does need to be properly mixed though. I actually had to look up whether I was supposed to use a steeping basket (like for tea leaves) with this or not because it is a bit of a ‘grain’ but also ‘powder’ simultaneously. Turns out one of those milk whisks and a basic latte recipe will see you straight. Tastes as smooth as your regular milk. Also, just to note, the back of the bag has three little recipes. I discovered you can substitute oat milk for regular milk and it really adds a cool dimension. It looks like adding honey or a drop of maple syrup, if you need it sweeter, is also pretty popular.

Good flavor, hard to dissolve
I’ve only recently started making my own matcha at home, so this is the second brand I’ve tried. I used boiling water and a milk frother with about a quarter cup of water, and it seemed to dissolve OK at first. I added honey and then some milk to make a latte. The texture of the drink was sort of gritty? I used 1tsp instead of .5tsp for a 16oz glass (about 12oz of liquid) which is probably why. The previous matcha I was using didn’t have similar solubility issues however. The drink itself was still good, taste was stronger than I expected. I’ll be using the recommended .5tsp from now on since it seems like this matcha is more concentrated than what I had previously.

The Real Deal Ceremonial Grade Matcha
I’m a huge fan of matcha, and Gldnt’s Organic Ceremonial Grade Green Tea Powder lives up to the hype! This first-harvest, organic matcha truly delivers the vibrant green color and smooth, creamy texture expected from premium ceremonial matcha. When traditionally prepared, it whisks beautifully into a frothy delight, meeting all my expectations for a taste of authentic Japanese tea ceremony. But let’s face it, not everyone has time for elaborate rituals every morning. That’s where Gldnt shines. While it excels in traditional preparations, its versatility truly impresses. Most mornings, I find myself blending a scoop of this matcha into my smoothies or protein shakes. It mixes effortlessly, leaving no unwanted clumps or gritty texture. But the best part? The matcha flavor doesn’t overpower everything else. It adds a subtle earthiness and a hint of vegetal sweetness, perfectly complementing my smoothie blends without masking the other ingredients. This makes it a guilt-free way to sneak in the amazing health benefits matcha offers, like its amazing antioxidant power and energy boost.

Ceremonial Grade Matcha
This is ceremonial grade organic matcha. I use it to make iced matcha lattes. It has a very nice, smooth taste. I put it through a sifter and then add it to hot water to completely dissolve it. In another glass I have vanilla syrup, ice and milk. I pour the matcha in and it makes a great latte!

Nice and smooth
The matcha powder is fresh and smooth and has a great flavor. I have used it in my homemade smoothies. Requires mixinig (I used a handheld blender).
