    Easy to connect. Accurate.
This works very well and stays attached to the chest without sliding. The read out is steady without the fluctuations seen with some chest belts. I use it with my Concept 2 rowing machine. Recommended.

    Comfortable fit and accurate results
Feel I get more consistent results with this over watch sensors. It’s a good comfortable fit and you wouldn’t even know it was there.Pairs well with my Garmin bike computer

    Good quality
As with all Garmin products, nothing lasts forever and these are just the same.Still have the occasional issue but i like the BLE connection to allow me to connect with my computer when using Zwift or Garmins own riding program.Nice that they finally provide a screwdriver in the pack, thats a really nice touch.

    Works very well
Took a bit of fiddling to get it connected to my android but once the connection was established the first time, it now works like a charm. Also, my very old Android phone is rather temperamental with Bluetooth devices now, but this heart rate monitor still manages to work well. As an example, I use Strava for my multi hour mountain trips. During which, I may pause recording. If later in when I restart it I find the connection was lost (almost certainly issue on my phone side), it is a matter of switching Bluetooth off and on on my phone and that’s it. My previous HR monitor wasn’t as quick in re-establishing connection.Recommended.

    Garmin Quality Product
You know you are getting quality when purchasing a Garmin product. Easy to wear and reliable in use. I have not experienced any issues with connectivity to a Garmin 1030

    It’s utter junk
Unlike a 25 year old polar, this just doesn’t work reliably. Avoid. I feel I have been totally ripped off by Garmin. Using with a vivoactive 3. Connects fine, works when walking round the house. Go to do exercise and sometimes works sometimes doesn’t , or works for half a session and then stops.Wish I hadn’t bought a Garmin.

I have wanted a heart rate monitor for a long time
I have always thought about a heart rate monitor, even though I have a Garmin vivoactive V watch, so I finally got around to buying this one.It was so very easy to pair with my Garmin watch, and once its paired whenever you put the strap back on, it pairs straight away between the strap and the watch.I found it easy to wet, place and tighten the strap onto the bottom bit of your chest, and it stays in place, ands you don’t realise you have it on. I only received the strap last week but I have done one parkrun and two other 5k runs, the heart rate data is then downloaded from my strap, to my watch, to my phone via Garmin connect and then to Strava. The data seems on par with what I would of expected, and differs a little bit but not excessive from my Garmin Vivoactive 5.I am certainly going to continue wearing this monitor, as I was a little worried that my heart rate may be getting too high when running and causing me to stop on a few runs over the past year. For the money and peace of mind this strap does the job sufficently well,.

    Must have for training!
I’ve been using the Garmin Premium Heart Rate Chest Strap for a few weeks now, and I’m blown away by its accuracy and comfort. The real-time heart rate data transmission via Bluetooth and ANT+ has taken my training sessions to the next level. With a battery life that’s promised to last around 3.5 years, it’s clear this strap is built to last. It’s incredibly comfortable to wear, thanks to the soft material and adjustable strap, making long workout sessions a breeze. Plus, it seamlessly connects with all my Garmin devices as well as online training apps, ensuring I’m always on top of my fitness game. The black color is sleek and unobtrusive, and the compact packaging was a nice touch. Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast or just starting out, this heart rate chest strap is a must-have for anyone serious about their health and fitness goals. Absolutely recommend!

Muy buen producto. Lo único que no me gustó es que no lo reconoce la app Connect, pero sí lo reconoce la app de Nike, que es para lo que la quería

This is my first heart rate monitor and so I didn’t realize the Amazon description of the monitor meant I’d need a Garmin watch or computer as well, and couldn’t just connect directly to my phone using the Garmin Connect app. Seems like Garmin wants you to buy both the HRM-Dual and another one of their devices. However, internet to the rescue and I found 2 apps that will connect with it. Polar and Fitiv. I’m still on the free versions so far, but I’ve heard you can continue to use the free versions. Both of them though present the results nicely enough that I’ll consider buying a subscription to one of them. I’m still testing them out so will have a better idea which style/which app I like better. Both are good though. As for the HRM-Dual itself, it connected to both apps with no difficulty. It didn’t connect to Strava though despite all the trouble-shooting and me getting a trial subscription to Strava. Maybe at some point I’ll figure it out, but if not, then no big deal. The monitor did connect automatically to my Health app (iPhone 14). I can’t comment on battery life as I’ve not had it long enough. The strap seems sturdy, and it has stayed in place despite some vigorous exertions. I thought it had slipped down while cycling but it hadn’t moved at all. It was so comfortable I didn’t even know it was still in place. I kept pressing my fingers to just below my sternum where the monitor is located to double-check it was still in place. So far, quite happy with it and I don’t feel any need to buy another device just to use the HRM-Dual.
