This bed and car seat combo is a game-changer! The quality and design exceeded my expectations. My 4-month-old puppy adores it and uses it as both a bed and a car seat. Despite the initial price concerns, I believe it’s worth every penny. I’ll share another update in a few months!

When I first ordered this dog car seat I was honestly a little skeptical of its price. But now that I have had a chance to use it, I can see how it is worth every penny. I am using this for rescue puppies, but if you have a small dog that you like to take around with you, this is probably the best dog car seat you could buy.First off, the materials this seat is made of are very plush and high quality, and the single large strap that goes around the back of the seat is easier and more secure than other dog seats I’ve used that attach with the seatbelt and headrest straps. The single strap (that also doubles as a shoulder strap when carrying) slides on easily with no fuss, and you don’t have to hassle with threading your seat belt through the bottom of the seat. The sides of the car seat stay upright even when our dog leans over them, and the seat stays firmly in place while driving.Aside from the excellent build quality of the seat, what we like most about it are all of the little features that make it so nice to use. Once our dog is in the car there are convenient exterior pockets that we can keep his leash in while driving, and once you exit the car you can use the seat to either carry your small dog, or use it like a tote bag to carry their things (water bottle, blanket, cup, toy, etc), which is what we do. This alone is a huge convenience, as instead of the seat being something extra you have to carry, this seat can actually help make your load more manageable.Once you get to where you’re going, you can unzip the front and your dog can freely walk in and out and use it as a bed. It is clearly very comfortable, as my puppy loves to be in it both at home and on the road. At first I was a little concerned he would damage the material, but his sharp little teeth and nails haven’t left so much as a scratch. The inside cushion is also removable and reversible, and the bottom seems to have sufficient water proofing to keep your car dry if your dog makes a mess (fortunately we have not had to put that to the test yet).The only small thing I don’t like about this seat, which is just personal preference, is that the green and orange colors are softer and more muted than I would like. Based on the pictures, I thought it was going to be more of military green and bright orange, like a bomber jacket, which I would have preferred. But it still looks great, and my wife disagrees with me on this point, so maybe just keep that in mind. Otherwise we couldn’t be happier with this seat, and are very grateful to have it for our rescue puppies. If anything changes in the future, I will update this review, but otherwise it’s an easy 5 stars.
