We love using this magsafe charger in our car. Thatâs such a convenience. It charges quite fast and it comes with all the stuff you need to mount it on your car without damaging anything. The lighter charger has an extra port so this is a big bonus if youâre charging multiple devices. Also the magnets are super strong that your phone wonât fall even in the worst bumps.

Though I have not heard of the makers of ‘EOIWUY Compatible with MagSafe Car Mount Charger, 15W Fast Charging Magnetic Car Phone’ it is very similar to another slightly better known brand of an almost identical in car charger I have.My phone is held extremely securely by the mount and charging is effortless.At a price of £18.69 this is now displaying a strong competitive price and I highly recommend.

Amazingly good
I tested a few MagSafe compatible magnetic wireless chargers for my car and had very mixed results. Some would intermittently stop charging my phone while some had a weak magnet and the phone would drop when driving over pot holes.The magnets on this wireless car charger are incredibly strong. Maybe even too strong – it’s a little difficult to take the phone off the charger and have to use a slide-and-pull method. Pulling directly will not release the phone. I use an Android phone with a MagSafe case so can’t comment on how an iPhone will perform.Charging works perfectly with all the Android phones I tested. It’s not incredibly fast but I actually prefer a slower charger since it doesn’t put too much stress on the phone’s battery and doesn’t get too hot.I can easily get away with only charging my phone during my commute every day. It’s been weeks since I plugged my phone in for charging.I did have some problems initially when I used my old 12v to USB cigarette lighter adapter, but once I switched to the included adapter everything worked perfectly. The included adapter has a dual USB-C and USB-A output which is very handy.The design of this charger is very slick. I really like the round minimalist shape. The air vent attachment is very sturdy and the hook at the back of the vent along with the adjustable tightnener make for a very firm hold. However, this mechanical adjustment increases the gap between the phone and the dashboard quite a bit, which is my one and only complaint about this design. But because the magnets are so powerful, a strong grip on the air vent is a must.I genuinely recommend this charger – it is amazingly good.

Let me start by saying that I wasn’t expecting the magnetic grip to be so strong on this car mount.I have an Iphone 15 Pro Max so a really heavy phone, but this mount just pulled it in and gripped it tightThat’s fine in a car that’s not moving but how about going over bumps in the road? No problem. It was rocksteady and at no point did the phone slip or look like it was going to fall offGreat successThe carmount slots through your air vent and grips it until it’s not moving so if you’re looking for a car mount that’s rock solid and wont’ drop your phone this is the one.The fact it charges means you don’t have to mess about with cables when putting your phone on the mount – just put it on the magsafe magnetic mount and that’s it – charging!Recommended

Finally! A decent MagSafe charger!
The first thing I noticed even before mounting in the car, was the power of the magnets on the back of my iPhone – very reassuring! Very strong plastic hook tightens onto the air vent, securing the whole thing into place, then the magsafe mount snaps into that, and a screw-ring on the back of that adjusts the angle, with a trailing USB C cable (included) going into (also included) 12v socket adapter – which has both a standard type A and type C port built in – perfect for a dashcam or charging another type C device. This somehow manages to hold both the weight of the 15 Pro Max with a silicone case in place on even a bumpy road, whilst supplying enough power to charge the phone whilst running it in CarPlay mode.Feels like a quality product – and the little blue glow from the centre of the pad makes it easy to find in the dark. Obviously, being a magsafe charger, it doesn’t matter which way you mount the phone – portrait or landscape. Actually refreshing when you don’t have to go out and buy extra cables or anything – literally everything is included! Top notch! Love it!
