Very helpful for cats who eat fast
The plate feels really good quality, itâs weighted enough and is thankfully very easy to clean. My cat eats so much slower and itâs helped reduced him throwing it up from eating too fast. The plates design is cute and I like that it comes with the stand.

I wished I had videoed my cat when I put her food in this elevated bowl. She was so puzzled, looking underneath it, then discovering the dried food I’d added before looking underneath it again. It did slow down her eating and I can’t wait to watch her use it again.

PACKAGING: Plain brown cardboard box with a bar code label on the top, delivered via Royal Mail.PRODUCT: Elevated slow feederFUNCTION: This came very well packaged within a polystyrene inner box. The wooden legs are two pieces of shaped wood, cut and glued together. The edges were smooth and the top, curved. However, it did wobble ever so lightly. It also comes with a strip of self adhesive pads, pre-cut into squares for the bottom of the feet. I placed a small, thin piece of cardboard under the outer edge of one of the feet before adhering a pad, and this stopped the wobble. The wooden base part will not be submerged into water, so the adhesive pads should remain in place.The bowl is made of ceramic – do not drop it. It is quite weighty. It is also quite shallow and measures 16cm across, so it is not particularly small. It has six raised ‘lumps’ painted to look like flowers. These help to separate the food.I ordered this for my little Shih Tzu dog. He has a cup of kibble for breakfast and dinner (along with a meat topper). The bowl comfortably held a cup size of kibble and could easily accommodate more. My dog ate his food, but noticeably much more slowly. The poor thing looked up at me as if to say, ‘Why are you making it so hard for me?’ There was no belching after his meal, so the slow feeder did its job.At the time of this review, the raised slow feeder was £15.99, which I think is reasonable. Shame about the wobble though.

Amazing bowl
Love this bowl, helps massively with my one cat who eats much faster than my other two, she finally finishes her food at the same time as them leaving the other two safe from their food being stolen! It feels really good quality and despite the grooves is easy to clean. As well as this it looks super cute!

Does the job & very pretty
I have a doll faced persian so was unsure if this would be suitable due to her flatter facial features. However as the raised parts are rounded & coloured it is fine & she doesn’t seem to mind using it. It’s definitely done the job it was intended for – slowing down eating so would recommend

The cat didn’t like the bowl…
Cats. They’re fickle creatures. One day they like the food you’ve given them, the next day they’re disgusted at you for even contemplating giving them that food. Our moggy is getting on a bit now, but she’s still got a lot of life in her. I thought I’d get her this to give her old joints a bit of respite. Initially she was interested, had a sniff around, and then came the test, I broke up a treat and put it in the bowl. She wouldn’t touch the food. I’m pretty sure she’s just not a fan of the raised bits in the bowl. I persevered, and she did eat some from the bowl, quite reticently, and she struggled to get her mouth around the pieces because of the raised parts. I put her old bowl on the stand, and she was in it straight away.All in all, it was a mixed bags, I suppose some cats may like it, but if the ratio is 8 out of 10 cats, then my cat is one of the other 2 I’m afraid. The stand was worth it, but the bowl, isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.The stand itself is wooden, quite sturdy for what it is, and comes with non-slip pads that you can attach to the feet to protect surfaces, and stop it moving around so much when your cat is eating.

I got this because itâs easy to clean and is shaped in a way that would prevent whisker fatigue (I think?) Itâs also kind of a slow feeder and stops my cat from wolfing down her food in 3 minutes. I think itâs also enriching because she has to work around the grooves of the flowers to eat!

Estamos ante un comedero exclusivo para gatos con una altura del tamaño de un mechero, suficiente para que mi pequeña Kira no tenga que agacharse demasiado para comer y pueda digerir mejor porque no se le comprime el estomago.Respecto a los bultos, resultan de utilidad, aunque ha tenido que acostumbrarse porque al principio querÃa devorar todo el pienso y los bultos le molestaban y le daban más ansiedad. Sin embargo, tras unos dÃas, ha aprendido a comer un poco más lento y le ha ayudado con sus problemas digestivos. Aunque sigue vomitando de vez en cuando, lo hace bastante menos.
