Nice game
The game is very entertaining. Easy to understand just a bit of a faff to calculate the points in the end. But you will get quicker the more you do it. Cards are highquality.

Entertaining and fun!
Doomlings has become a firm favourite at our family board/card gaming sessions on a Sunday afternoon! It seems complicated at first but is actually quite easy to understand. It is a great game that holds the attention of the whole family, even our video gaming teenage ds. It has a nice mixture of luck and strategy and being able to be mildly ‘mean’ to other families members. Mwahaha! Can highly recommend it!The costumer service is amazing too. My dh decided that he wanted to score one card twice and we wrote to the company to have it confirmed that my kids and I were correctly interpreting the rules and they even answered our query on a Sunday (and my dh was wrong, of course!) 🙂

My mum always asks to play this!
This is a great card game. Lots of variety and fun. It feels a bit like a bridge between a very simple and easy to learn card game for the whole family and a proper deck builder game. People who are used to playing MTG etc are more likely to spot synergies or combos faster but that doesn’t stop anybody beating you some of the time! My oldy criticism is that the end of the game can be a bit finicky to count up the points, an app would be great for this as I’m sure I’ve won some games because other people have under scored themselves.

Cute characters, different scenarios
So many different cards and expansions available. I wish I had paid extra for the bigger set that came with an expansion and a game board.Difficult to get your head around to begin with. Once to do you’re away. Different scenarios each time. Gameplay variable. Keeps the kids off computers for a good hour. Fits in a small box so ideal to take away. But not suitable to pay in cars or trains due to layout whilst playing

Great game
The instructions are nice and clear and the game (after a couple of rounds) is easy to play. Itâs nice that itâs limited to quite quick games. Shouldnât take more than half an hour.Well made. Nice artwork. Good to play. Even my 7yo managed to pick it up quickly

Hard to understand at first but really interesting game
At first it was really hard understanding the instructions of the game. To anyone that is buying thing product I suggest to maybe look at a YouTube video tutorial as it helped me the most.As I said in the title of this review this game is very interesting once you know how to play the game. The quality of the cards are high quality and if you play the game with a family expect to atleast take half an hour. The best thing about this game (or the best part for me) is that you can change the number of catastrophes and the length of the game too.So in conclusion, this is a very unique game that not many people have and it’s a really nice game to enjoy with family if you understand the game.

Great family game
Bought this for a camping holiday and the family really enjoyed it. I wouldnât recommend it for children under 9-10 as the scoring system is a little fiddly at the end of the game.Great imagination and funny little cartoon drawings of the Doomlings help bring this game to life. Playing with 5 players, each game lasted about 40-45 minutes. It takes a little getting used to in the beginning, but putting it simply you take turns to lay cards with numbers on them and you want to keep them for the end when theyâre added up and scored. Some cards have actions. It becomes self explanatory as the game goes on. FYI- Grey cards are NOT coloured cards for the purposes of âactionsâ.I would highly recommend.

Fun and quick
A fast paced little game that is great for 2 to 6 players. There is enough variety in the cards that it doesn’t get repetitive. Instructions are nice and clear, it only took us a round or two to get to grips with the rules. The art work is so playful and fun it make you want to spend a lots of time just looking at the cards in your hand. Can easily be enjoyed by children and adults alike.

Party games should be easy to pick up and play. Don’t get me wrong- there’s a place for high-skill card games, but there’s also something special about being able to round up a group of friends and jump right into chaos.Doomlings gets this right. The goal is simple: score the most points. Each card (aka trait) has a point value, and most have effects or actions that allow you to score points in other ways, such as having a certain number of blue traits, or stealing your friend’s Kidney (yes that’s a thing). After everyone makes a move, a new age passes. When you hit three catastrophes, the world ends and you tally your scores. The genius lies in its simplicity. Everything you need is written right on the cards, and you can learn how to play in a matter of minutes. There is a ton of hidden strategy in how you can chain cards together to sabotage your opponents or maximize your own scoring. And when you start to get comfortable, there are several expansions for sale that add new ways to play. But in true party fashion, there’s plenty of surprises depending on what cards you draw and what the next age tells you to do, which keeps the game from being dominated by skill gaps. We’ve had games when the newcomer wins on their first try, and games when our big-brain friend absolutely smokes us!What really makes the game stand out, though, is how much character it has. Each card has its own cute creation and a light-hearted caption. It’s clear that the creators put alot of love into this game, and if you get the expansions, you’ll appreciate how the art style evolves to fit themes like dinosaurs and mythical beings.Simply put- you need to play this. I’ve made over 200 custom cards for my collection, so I can confidently say that Doomlings is worth your time!

The first time through any game is really just a walk-through to understand the process, rules , and flow of the game. But from our second game on, itâs been very simple and entertaining! There are plenty of trait cards, so with 3-5 people playing it 10 times so far, weâre still discovering new and interesting Traits that hadnât tuned up before. The games only take about 20-30 minutes, so you can play for a bit when youâve only got a few minutes or play it a few times to fill an evening. Itâs simple enough for kids to understand yet complex enough to keep everyone interested. No regrets on this purchase!
