Review for Davidsonâs Bulk Green Tea
Iâve tried many green teas over the years, but Davidsonâs Bulk Green Tea stands out as my favorite. The quality is exceptionalâfresh, smooth, and never bitter, even when steeped for a while. I love that itâs organic and comes in bulk, making it both cost-effective and environmentally friendly. The flavor is clean and refreshing, perfect for a morning boost or a relaxing afternoon cup. If youâre a green tea lover looking for a consistently great option, I highly recommend giving Davidsonâs a try!

A Game-Changer!
I absolutely love Davidson’s Tea Bulk! The quality is outstanding, and you can really taste the difference compared to other brands. The tea leaves are fresh and aromatic, brewing a smooth, rich cup every time. I appreciate the wide selection of flavors and blends available, perfect for any mood or time of day. Plus, the bulk packaging is convenient and economical, so I don’t have to worry about running out too quickly. Whether Iâm enjoying a calming chamomile in the evening or a bold black tea in the morning, Davidsonâs never disappoints. Highly recommend to all tea lovers!

Quality tea
Very rare and quality tea (unlike most teas of this brand). The main trick is not over-steep it. Use water under boiling (as for oolong tea) and brew 2-3 minutes – this will give you a very nice light evening tea with flowery aroma and mild taste. Later I do second brew for much longer (~10 minutes) and it makes a good darker morning tea with a “kick”. The main problem with this tea is that if brewed for long, it will make it bitter, so the bad reviews.Currently it is no longer available, but I hope that Davidson’s will be carrying yellow teas in the future.

Brew Carefully and Tastes Like Oolong
I have ordered numerous Davidson’s tea but this one is very unique in a both positive and negative way. It is a mixture of oolong, green tea, and jasmine. The oolong is the strongest flavor that stands out. The jasmine is barely there. The reason why it’s unique, I’ll describe. The first time I opened the bag it smelled kind of odd and bland. Brewed my first cup and my digestive tract did not like it. It speed up my tract (probably due to the caffeine content) causing loose stools. That first cup tasted bland and very plain. Next day decided to give it a second chance. Suspecting the tea leaves had settled, maybe I had more of one leaf or another in the first batch, so I shook the bag up. Used boiling water, the taste was somewhat more of oolong but still a tad bland. No problem with my digestion this time round. At that point I only felt the tea was okay.Third brew I approached this tea differently. Used almost boiling water, seeped for 4 min 30 sec and added honey after done brewing. The oolong was still the strongest but a hint of jasmine was finally coming through. Tasted much better and likeable, then. Started making every brew like this and seemed good. Most reviews say the tea is bland and that is true. I believe the blandness comes from it being kept airtight and the leaves settled. The mixture of leaves can allow one to brew with far more oolong compared to green or jasmine. This makes each brew give just a slightly different flavor each time but oolong flavor though is the strongest. The only way I feel jasmine came through is if you sweeten the tea. If you are expecting jasmine smell and flavor like jasmine pearls from teavana, look elsewhere. If you don’t sweeten your tea and like drinking it like Japanese sencha, I would also say look elsewhere. I would not recommend to everyone but for those who like oolong and don’t mind testing new things. It does not cost that much so if it is not your cup of tea, just discard the bag.

High quality organic
This is a very good quality tea. I drink it hot with raw sugar, just a little bit. I make it in my Ninja Coffee Bar Coffee maker and it is delicious.

Fresh, Organic, tasty, cost effective..
Whatâs not to like? I drink green tea every day. I have tried about 20-30 different kinds. The gunpowder green from davidson is my #1 go to. I like to mix it up from time to time but this is the tea I drink 90% of the time. Iced with a little homemade lemonade and itâs refreshing, clean, and the tastiest. My primary taste description is âearthyâ. Not as floral as jasmine, not as grassy as sencha. Itâs the sweet spot for mass tea drinkers imo. Itâs easily worth double or triple this price but I appreciate that they seem to make an effort to keep its cost down.

A really good product.
I tried a cheaper one before getting this. This costs a bit more than the bottom but is really worth it. Great tea with proper complexity in its flavor. I have now subscribed.

I love this tea and will definitely be ordering more. It has a delicate flavour that I really enjoy. It took a few tries of different steeping times and the amount of tea in the tea ball before I found the taste I love.So my suggestion is if you don’t enjoy it the first time, make adjustments and try again.

I cut out coffee and did some research re tea; contains L-Theanine, which helps take away the jitters from caffeine. Green tea has countless health benefits additionally, especially if you’re into fasting. I was sick of the grocery store crap, so I upped my game and gave this a go.I surely noticed how much more fresh this stuff is compared to your run of the mill bagged teas.Found myself wanting to go to bed early so I could wake up earlier to enjoy a cupa this sooner… so nice. The lemon flavour compliments the green tea well, and I am sure the ginseng is adding even further health benefits.Between the taste, the health benefits, the quality, and the price at this volume, I have not regrets. Highly recommended. The only “nitpick” I have, is that it would be nice to have some idea of how much caffeine is in this (mg per 8oz brewed)– but no biggie, once again, green tea contains things that curtail the ill effects of caffeine, so I guess that number would be misleading for most people anyhow.

I just received my Jasmin Pearls tea. I am over the moon to say the least. it’s fresh and perfect. Jasmine Pearls (like all good tea) deserves careful attention when brewing. It requires 185 degree water, should be rinsed first (add water and then discard water) then brewed very briefly so that it is not bitter. Brewing good tea is an art.

Absolutely love this tea. Wonderful aroma and flavour. Iâve been looking for a good organic loose leaf Jasmine tea in a largeer quantity that doesnât break the bank. Looks like Iâve found it. Have ordered a couple of other Davidsonâs teas and am very happy.
