You probably won’t find another as these seem rare but if they are listed again, I’d highly recommend one. I also have the Mini XLR headphone receiver version, (for AKG Q701, K702, K553 etc. with removable cables), that pairs with this and other transmitters.Volume levels are within the typical Bluetooth range so may need further amplification and for most purposes will be adequate but apart from that, there’s nothing negative to say about this great little dongle. Guitars will be in mono to one ear only since this has a TRS connector, (Tip, Ring, Sleeve/Shield), which is obviously for stereo but you can correct that issue if you know what you’re doing.However, plugging this into another amplifier such as a Fender Mustang Micro Plus or similar Bluetooth guitar amp via their built-in headphone socket results in a significant delay so isn’t an option for playing except for testing setups or presets.I’m still looking for a proper Bluetooth guitar amp that actually transmits directly to Bluetooth headphones without the need for its own matching receiver, (into an amp for wired headphones!), which you would think exists but apparently not yet or if it does, they aren’t showing up on any of my searches.So if you’re handy with a soldering iron and have a 3D printer for prototyping there’s a HUGE market out there waiting to be served, unless I’m the only one on the planet who wants to play guitar fully wirelessly?

Great for Audio Noticeable Latency in Game/Movie Audio
It is difficult to rate this high given I’d bought this for the PlayStation Portal and I can notice the latency.There is instructions included on how to pair but it would have been good to have them printed on the device is if you lose these the paper manual it would be very hard to pair manually.Audio quality seemed fine with no stuttering but there is unfortunately noticeable latency.This would be great for listening to music but as I’m quite sensitive to audio latency there’s no benefit in movies/gaming.

I have to admit to misunderstanding what this was when I ordered it. Despite the fact it clearly says ‘transmitter’, my brain for some reason interpreted this as ‘receiver’, and I thought it would be perfect to turn an old speaker into a Bluetooth speaker. But it’s actually the opposite way around.This is a great way to make your old sound equipment, such as MP3 players, CD players or even cassette players, transmit wirelessly via Bluetooth. You only need to plug this into the headphone port and then enable pairing mode, and then do the same on your receiving speaker / headphones, and you can stream the sound as you would with a modern music player.The sound quality isn’t amazing, but it’s good enough. I’ve used this on a standalone CD player I have whose inbuild speakers are lacking in bass, so I can instead stream it to my Bluetooth speaker, and while the quality isn’t 100%, it’s definitely a big improvement from the CD player’s speakers.
