Excellent Customer Service
I contacted Coospo and they responded extremely quickly and dealt with my enquiry to my total satisfaction so their Customer Service was excellent for me.The H9Z is my second Coospo HRM and it works first time every time and gives readings exactly the same as my old Garmin HRM so I am confident it is accurately recording my heart rate.Dual bluetooth is useful as I often have two devices connected when I am cycling indoors. The different coloured lights on the front of the monitor, that indicate which heart rate zone you are in, are not useful to me as they cannot be seen under clothing but it is reassuring when you initally put it on to have it light up to show that it is working.Only two weeks into ownership, it appears to be well made so hopefully will last.

Works very well with my old Fenix 3 watch.
I bought this as a lower cost option to the proper Garmin HRM straps. I know these do other clever stuff but I never knew what to do with that information.Paired with the watch without drama and does a reliable job.Fits well.Easy to clean.Recharge is straight forward and lasts for weeks. This works better for me than the fiddley battery replacement on the Garmins. The app is directed at cycling but is good for direct monitoring when doing cross training or treadmill training. You can turn off the LED if you do not want everyone to know your heart rate (and this saves on the battery). My only slight concern is that the case is made of a hard plastic that might be brittle if dropped.

First one delivered perfect as per usual by Amazon. Sadly it stopped working after a couple of weeks. Sent back but bought another as this may have just been a one off. Time will tell. Update. Previous issue was user error and buyer not reading instructions properly. After getting a replacement I read instructions fully and you have to moisten the sensor with some water before using. Once I did this it works a treat and at half the price of brand name sensors I would highly recommend.
Does what it says –
Inaccurate readings,refusal of replacement
I have had this since April, worked fine for a couple months. However recently it seems to give me inaccurate readings at the start of my runs I.e 200bpm.Contacted customer service to be told I need to buy a new one due to its age! What a joke!7 month old and it’s already playing up. AVOID!!

Accurate and connects every time
Only had it a few days but so far it’s been absolutely brilliant.Simple set up with a no frills app on Android. It beeps as soon as the device is connected to the strap and detects a signal, which easily done by wetting the strap lightly. It works. Every. Single. Time. No drop outs. Also connected straight away to a treadmill in parallel to the phone app.Faultless.I had a Polar H10 previously and both the app and the strap worked either intermittently or not at all.The coloured light on the device is of limited use; it indicates your heart rate zone, which you can set in the app. Unless you’re one ponce about shirtless in front of a mirror whilst working out I doubt it will see much use. It might allow running without a receiving watch at push, with a thin shirt. So far the H9Z has lived up to the reviews and recommendations on line and for a fraction of the price of the H10.I couldn’t recommend this enough.

Great value HRM – much better than the entry level COOSPO HRM
Bought to replace a cheaper COOSPO HRM that didnt work correctly from its arrival. This HRM is a vast improvement. Well worth the additional cost – about a tenner.Firstly it has a rechargable battery (arrived 97% charged and ready to go).It connected instantly to the COOSPO app and flashes repeatedly so you know it is working.Tested on Zwift, again an instant connection, that was stable for over 2 hrs.

So far so good..
Nicely packaged and clear instructions. Set up quick and pairing to phone and Zwift via PC was easy. I like the sealed unit with rechargeable battery as this removes the weak point with replacement battery HRMâs at the battery cover which I find leak sweat / moisture over time, causing functionality issues. Neat little charging cradle to charge transmitter unit. Iâve only used on one ride so far but found the accuracy to be good when compared to my Apple Watch. Helpful beep tones to confirm the unit is on and when you disconnect. The changing logo light colour to denote HR zone is useful if you are not wearing any clothing over the top of the unit which would really only apply to cycling indoors on a trainer. I have connected to the Coospo app but to enable settings but donât think I will need / use this much. Overall 4 stars because I havenât used over medium / long term yet.

Powering Off Drives Me Nuts
There is one major annoyance with the HRM and that is the powering off function, it’s a total nightmare. You disconnect from the strap, then it gives you 3 beeps to power off which most of the time it does but not always, it then powers itself back on a few moments later. You need to connect it back up to power it off again, extremely annoying, so much so that I’m buying a different HRM now, it drives me nuts. The HRM when working out works well and connects via BT to all my phone and tablet via the polar app and records my sessions well but my god that power off issue is bad.

Does exactly what you want – get a good heart rate while working out.And its much cheaper than the “top” name brandsPlus the battery lasts a really long time – no issues even when recording a 7+ hour bike ride.

UPDATE -10 months in. Monitor continues to impress. Battery life crazy good, links to Zwift everytime! Very accurate. Still loving this HRM.Original review. I really wanted to use my Apple watch as my HR monitor while I am Zwifting. But as others have said, it is extremely difficult to get the Apple watch to reliably link to the Zwift training App. I picked up this Coospo HR monitor and it linked perfectly right out of the box. It links up quickly everytime i start zwifting and it is always within 1 bpm of my Apple watch. Only change I made was to swap out the provided strap with Onewly 22mm Woven strap. It makes putting it on and off my right wrist extremely quick and easy.

I bike and walk everyday. As I get older and wiser I needed to make sure I was properly zone training so that I donât get injured. This HR monitor is simple and is accurate, I compared it to my Apple Watch and to a chest monitor and it is the same. Bluetooth works with my Apple Watch so I donât need to pair to my phone, but you can pair it to your phone. I also pair this to my computer for Zwift and works amazing. I have had it for a month and itâs still holding its charge. I like the way it looks and itâs easier to put on with all my gear on, I donât have to remove clothes to put on the monitor unlike my chest monitor which used watch batteries. The rechargeable battery is a huge advantage so that I donât have to swap batteries ever.
