ORGANIC SENCHA GREEN TEA – Certified 100% organic by JONA & JAS. Our selection process is meticulous, choosing only the highest quality of organic Japanese sencha green tea sourced from Uji, Kyoto, Japan. We proudly collaborate with local tea masters and have the privilege of working with a charming tea plantation that has been preserved by dedicated tea farmers for over 350 years, tracing back to the Genroku era.
SENCHA LOOSE LEAF TEA – Globally renowned as the most popular, Japanese Sencha green tea constitutes approximately 80% of Japan’s total tea production. Sencha green tea undergoes a gentle steaming process, making it a favored choice among the Japanese for its invigorating quality in daily consumption. Its adaptability to various brewing methods caters to individual taste preferences with ease.
EXPERTLY CURATED TEA SELECTION – Our team of tea connoisseurs diligently evaluates the quality of tea leaves, engaging in rigorous assessments year after year to identify the perfect leaves for crafting sencha green tea. With unparalleled precision, we meticulously handpick the finest tea leaves and skillfully blend them in precise ratios to create the ultimate sencha green tea experience. Our blend predominantly showcases the 1st harvest tea from Yabukita and Saemidori cultivars, guaranteeing a harmonic, flavourful blend of sencha green tea.
EXPERT MANUFACTURING TECHNIQUE – Our sencha green tea undergoes a meticulous manufacturing process utilizing the far-infrared roasting method. This technique adeptly accentuates the tea’s umami, unlocks its inherent captivating aroma, and results in a robust and flavorful taste, all contributing to the creation of the finest sencha green tea
VERSATILE HOT & COLD BREWING – Revel in the diverse pleasures of flavorful sencha green tea through two classic approaches: hot brewing and cold brewing. The hot brewing method preserves the tea leaves’ health benefits and offers a revitalizing boost for the day. On the other hand, cold brew sencha green tea (known as Mizudashi Sencha) unveils an unparalleled flavor and refreshment, making it an ideal choice, particularly during scorching summers.

Expensive but SO worth it!
This is the best green tea I have ever had. I wanted to get healthier and get away from my coffee drinks. Green tea has fantastic benefits such as antioxidants in it.I chose this from a tik tok video initially for weight loss. This green tea is organic watch makes it safer than other options. It is full flavor. I hate watery drinks. I can use two tablespoons in a teabag and brew with honey then pour over ice to make 20 ounces. I leave the tea bag in my drink all day and once my drink is gone, I fill the whole cup again and it is not quite as strong but still during enough I like it.I was so impressed with this tea and it made me feel so good each day. I was energized without the crash coffee gives. I use raw unfiltered honey in it.The smell is strong. The size of bag is a bit small in my opinion for $50 but I’ve been so impressed with it that I will still buy it. So I guess that makes it a good value for your money to me.I hope Amazon continues to sell this and I can drink it every day. It is my happy place.

Good green tea leaves, very satisfying.
Love this tea. I also use it with dashi over rice with grilled salmon. Great any time of the day.

Lovely and subtle
It has a really good flavor. The only reason I took a star off is because itâs not whole leaves, lots of broken up pieces. I accept that something dried will be brittle and break but I have bought bags of high quality teas and even though broken. They should be in large pieces not scrappy small ones

Earthy and Heartwarming
I’m still very young in my tea journey, so please don’t expect the review of a connoisseur. Most teas green or otherwise that I’ve tried recommend 1 instead of 2 teaspoons of dry tea to 7oz of water, I followed the package directions which just suggested 2 teaspoons, and my hot water device is limited to 8oz. Steeped at 75C.The smell is unlike other green teas I’ve had, as far as loose leaf, the only other green tea I’ve tried is Vahdam’s Himalayan Green. This tea has a much stronger flavor than Vahdam. When it hits my tongue I’d say the first flavor that I get is more of an earthy “mushroom” flavor, with a mild tea flavor in the background that fades into a little astringency and tea bitterness. (3min might be to long for a first steep.) There’s definitely a plantlike flavor that cuts across the middle, but I definitely wouldn’t call this “grassy.” I would say there’s a definite hint of “seaweed” in the mix.It reminds me of some of the teas I’ve had in Good sushi restaraunts, though my strainer is clearly not good enough as my brew looks more cloudy than what’s represented in some of the pictures I’ve seen of this tea. The particles are light enough NOT to settle during the drinking of a single cup, it doesn’t bother me at all.A second steep at 2min this time provides a flavorful green tea, less pronounced on the earthy/astringent/seaweed notes I described in the first steep (done for 3min).I wish this were a little less expensive, this is probably one of my favorite green teas I’ve tried, and while I still admit that I’m new to loose leaf, there’s something about Japanese green teas overall that has a character unlike any other geographical region I’ve tried. This would definitely be a daily staple, this is something that on a cold rainy day I’d want to brew and sit down with a nice bowl of miso by a fire. Genuinely a great tea.

A little goes a long way!
Finally ordering my 2nd bag, a little goes a long way. I switched to Lipton Green Tea in the bottle to try and change out my caffeine routine as soda and coffee wasn’t doing it anymore. That got expensive and I really don’t like making so much plastic use with single serve bottles. I found a copy cat recipe on line on how to make the Citrus Green Tea that Lipton does. And after running out of the add ins, I decided just to have it hot and plain. WOW! What a lovely flavor! I’ve taken to just having it hot with a pinch of Stevia in it. I’m 100% hooked now.
