Directions
Should only be used for dry cat food. Do not use for wet cat food. This feeder is for indoor use only. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not install or store the appliance where it will be exposed to temperatures below freezing. Shelter the appliance from direct sunlight. Always inplug the appliance before trying to dismantle and clean it. Ensure that the feeder has been placed on a flat, even surface. Monitor the feeder regularly.

Original review: Would appear that it will only be usable for 30 days as the required Desiccant Pads are not available (have to be changed every 30 days), Catit dont list them on their site or reply to emails regarding this major problem.Other than that ð¤¬, the dispenser works well and is easy to use via the phone app to control times and portion sizes.Edited: Catit have, at last, got their act together and the Desiccant pads are at last available to order. An excellent product, if a little pricy, ensures our cats are regularly feed even if we are out of the house. Another ‘Amazonian’ suggested that much cheaper pads are available elsewhere if Catit cant supply in future.

Great for hassle free feeding
I got this for a few days away over Christmas but I since use it all the time. Itâs great for stopping my cat pestering me for food. He hears it go off and comes running. You get a message on your phone to notify you that design has taken place. It has a large container that last a few weeks. The portions are small but you can select as many as you like to dispense each time. I set mine to 3 portions 3 times a day and then I feed him wet food so we have the bond through me feeding him. Great gadget would definitely recommend.

Nice but somewhat ratty, somewhat big
I love CatIt stuff (water fountains, bowls, etc.) and I thought I’d try this for dry food.First impressions – the pieces don’t quite snap securely into place but rattle around; the lower feeding bowl does not click in place also – if you lift the unit then it remains on floor or falls onto it – not great. Unit quite big also – could probably hold 2 weeks of food! But is that really needed?Wifi connection was OK, pair with app was OK and firmware update was also OK. App is decent.Portion sizes seem to vary – sometimes a portion was enough, sometimes two. I do understand it depends on the food – this was the standard Whiskas dry food that likely must have been tested as so common. Button for extra feeding is a bit awkward – I do understand it has to be there to be the “nose” but perhaps place it as high as possible together with the “whiskers”.Remote app access and feeding was OK – one thing if schedule is missed (power drop, connection) the feeding is not done later on – perhaps a setting to feed later would be good.For the price these days it does not seem that cheap considering so much competition – but if you trust/like CatIt then better proposition. In the end – ask yourself if you really need it – unless you go away for many hours regularly then maybe not.

Product faulty
When I first got this feeder it was great, really reliable and a great option when I’m out all day. After 15months months since ordering it I was using the feeder and noticed a piece of plastic in my cat’s food bowl which had snapped from the inside mechanism. I contacted the seller and they refused to replace or refund the product as the one year warranty had already passed. I’m disappointed as I’d not had the product long and feel let down by the provider, would not purchase from them again. In hindsight I should have bought the feeder from Catit website directly as it seems like they are cheaper and more helpful in replacing faulty products.

My cat no longer needs me
This is my review six months after purchase. Itâs a brilliant feeder, easy to set up and control with the app.Works off the mains and has a batter backup for when it loses power.I schedule feeds that dispense the desired amount of food at the times I have set. Preventing my furry boy from waking me up at 6am for some food although my cat now feeds himself when heâs hungry. ð¹

Excellent for timed feeds
I bought this because one of our cats was on the verge of getting steroid-induced diabetes. It meant switching him to diabetic food and feeding him at regular intervals (you couldn’t give him all his food in one go in the morning, he would eat it all). Figured an automatic feeder would help.Setup was pretty straightforward. The app seems to insist I’m in Canada and I can’t change it for some reason, but it doesn’t matter for using it. The feeder is happy with Hill’s m/d food, you can fit about half a 3kg bag in there, and it will notify you when the dispenser is running low. If your cat figures out they can press the button on the front to dispense food, you can disable it through the app.Figuring out how much food to give was a challenge. One portion, first time I tried, seemed to be 5g, so I set it up to give 2 portions every 4h. After a couple of weeks when I measured it again, it turned out one portion was more like 7g, so he got fed about 1.5x the amount he was supposed to have, and had to adjust portion sizes accordingly.He would hear the beep and rattle of biscuits and happily jump down to his food. He wasn’t that keen on the metal bowl it comes with, and seemed to struggle a little with the shape, so I had to remove it and place his old bowl in front of it instead. Being fed every 4h on the dot also meant he stopped bugging me for food between feeds. Just don’t change the feeding frequency once they’re used to the schedule, they don’t appreciate it!Since he passed away a couple of months back the dispenser hasn’t been used. If I unplug it, the app keeps telling me it’s running on spare battery power and I don’t know if there’s a way to disconnect the battery so I can unplug it. We could use it for our other cat instead, but haven’t yet for reasons irrelevant to an Amazon review. The cat the feeder was intended for would eat his food before the other had a chance, plus the other cat has never been food motivated, so having two cats with only one using the feeder was never a problem. (The other cat was fed manually in a SureFeeder every day.)For people worrying about the availability of desiccator pads for it, it’s not a big deal. You don’t have to change them every month. Unless you put desiccator pads in a big bag of food and change those every month too, storing food in the bag it came in or in the dispenser isn’t really that much of a difference.

Using this feeder as a regular food dispenser to make sure it can be relied upon while away for 48 hours.Within 3 weeks this product has become unreliable. The dispenser gets stuck and doesnât turn. Royal Canin biscuits arenât exactly an unexpected size or shape.

Perfecto se configura por la app y funciona perfectamente a la hora que le indica.es perfecto para la gente que trabajamos y tenemos gatos tragones podremos darle comida durante todo el dÃa a nuestro gato sin preocupaciones la app indica que ha dispensado comida. Je suis très content de cet article ce distributeur à croquette est vraiment bien il faut mettre des croquettes de petit diamètre pour avoir les 5 grammes préconisées au niveau de l’application tout est très bien et très bien expliqué la connexion à la wifi avec une box orange et très simple il faut quand même faire une manipulation mais dans l’ensemble ça va bien ce distributeur à croquettes et très jolie
