Carpuride w904 brilliant
This is the first time in many years that I have decided to write a review, item turned up on time and was packaged well, I fitted the item today which took about 20 minutes on a Audi q7 so easy installation, as for the item omg absolutely brilliant easy to set up and works flawlessly have been looking at these for sometime and finally ordered one and so glad I did would highly recommend this tablet to anyone.

Easy to set up and install – and saves me money!
I ordered this for my car, as i have a similar unit in my camper and got used to it! It’s a bit of a faff to install tidily, but with a bit of work I’ve managed to make the wires less obtrusive. It pairs quickly with my android phone and although I’m still learning the ins and outs, it’s not hard. The reversing cam will be useful, and the dashcam is a real bonus: my vehicle insurance offers a discount for having a dashcam. It looks good, too, and has already had admiring comments from my neighbour’s petrolhead teen. I’ll update this review is any issues show over time, but for now I’d recommend.

A luxurious and sophisticated upgrade for in car entertainment.
Our car entertainment system was previously rather lacking but this CarPlay system comes jam packed with top notch specifications and highly impressive features with front and rear dash cam included as an additional bonus and a generously sized SD card as well.
Everything has been thought of in its genius design and the inclusion of the dash cam has saved us a few pounds on our car insurance at a time where every penny counts.
It is phenomenal just how many functions are actually built into this stylish piece of kit which was quick and simple to install with just some tidying up of loose wires needed to enhance the overall aesthetic and it can even be switched between multiple vehicles if desired which further justifies its price point.
The controls are easy to navigate even for non tech savvy people like me and my husband, even though itâs usually our teenage sons who run the show on family trips out and longer journeys. It definitely gets their seal of approval and we all know teens are a tricky customer to please 🙂
It has been in place for a good few months now and we are still discovering new features to enjoy, it literally comes with all the bells and whistles to take your in car entertainment system to the ultimate level so we would absolutely recommend based on the sleek and stylish design, durable quality, entertainment value and seamless performance.
When young ones pass their driving test, high insurance prices mean they are limited in their choice of first car so something like this CarPlay multimedia system with its good sized screen and sharp hd picture quality alongside its built in navigation, Bluetooth, dash cam (front and rear) and all its nifty entertainment options would go down an absolute treat for a safer and more enjoyable driving experience for them.
So much bang for your buck with this gem of a product that I havenât been able to find a single point to fault, will edit my review accordingly if anything changes.

Excellent Android Auto and Webcam
How can you write a review of something that contains so much? Everything that is said in the blurb about the product has already been said and matches my findings.
The Carpuride Wireless Carplay & Android Auto with Dash Cam arrived in a compact, neat box containing 2 different dash fittings (dashboard mount, and an extendible arm fitting) and sticky pads. The latter worked best for me. It also comes with the USB-C connector via the cigarette lighter and long cable for the rear cam (also included).
Set up was a real cinch. After plugging in the Carpuride device and switching it on, I simply had to connect my Android Auto on my phone to the Carpuride device. It literally took seconds and Google maps was on the screen – and it is a large good quality screen. The Android auto speaks for itself, allowing you to play music/radio on one part of the screen and google maps on the other (or just have google maps full screen.
Recording of the webcam is straight forward, as is the playback – no lagging – good quality picture too.
I did wonder briefly about playing sound/music, as this came out of the Carpuride’s speakers (which was ok, but not great when the car engine is running), but then I realised you can set this to play via BT Audio and it comes out of the car speakers.
Lots to play with, but obviously not whilst driving! The user manual is short, but covers all you need to know and is easy to read with clear pictures.
My minor grumble is not the product itself, but I am not a fan of laying wires from the front of the car to the rear cam. I haven’t seen any better types of rear cam solutions.
Overall, what’s not to like.

Iâm really happy with this CarPlay screen. Install was very easy as there is no hardwiring for the screen itself, just the rear camera.
Screen is nice and crisp and has auto dimming which is good for night time driving. Wireless CarPlay works well. Once setup it takes about 20 seconds for my phone to automatically connect. It will then play whatever music was playing before.
I have audio routed through the aux cable to my old car stereo. Sound is good but some apps have different volume levels.
Dashcam is a nice feature. The sensor isnât high end, but it gets the job done and works well enough in poor lighting conditions too. Itâs great that the camera can also turn around to face inside the car.
Overall this is a great package and an easy way to add CarPlay to almost any car.

El Carpuride W904 es un sistema todo en uno que realmente destaca por su pantalla táctil IPS HD de 10 pulgadas, su compatibilidad con CarPlay y Android Auto inalámbricos, y su dashcam dual que aporta un extra de seguridad y comodidad.
Lo mejor de este modelo es su cámara frontal 4K y trasera 1080P, con grabación en bucle y ángulo ajustable, lo que permite obtener imágenes nÃtidas en cualquier condición de luz. Además, la posibilidad de girar la cámara frontal para grabar dentro del coche es un plus para quienes viajan con niños o quieren monitorizar el interior del vehÃculo.
En cuanto a conectividad, la integración con CarPlay y Android Auto es rápida y estable, permitiendo acceder a Google Maps, Waze, música en streaming y llamadas sin problemas. También cuenta con varias opciones de audio, incluyendo Bluetooth, radio FM, AUX y altavoces integrados.

Wir haben uns für unseren alten Passat das Carpuride W904 mit Rückfahrkamera geholt. Das Produkt wurde uns über das Amazon Vine Programm Kostenlos(da Steuern anfallen können, ist es nicht unbedingt Kostenlos) zur Verfügung gestellt. Ich bewerte entsprechend des zutreffen der Versprechen der Produktbeschreibung und den gemachten Erfahrungen mit dem Produkt. Dann Versuche ich möglichst hilfreiche Infos zu dem Produkt zu geben.
âdas Infotainmentsystem kommt gut verpackt an
â beim Ãffnen kommt einem ein starker chemischer Geruch entgegen. Der kommt vom Klebepad zum Befestigen am Armaturenbrett. Im Auto nehme ich es mittlerweile nicht mehr wahr.
â es liegen 2 Halter (Saugnapf für Scheibe und Halter zum Kleben für das Armaturenbrett) und die Rückfahrkamera mit Befestigungsmaterial bei
â es gibt nur eine Anleitung auf Englisch.

âdas Verbinden per Bluetooth funktioniert meistens automatisch, bislang mussten wir zweimal nachhelfen
ânach der Verbindung wird automatisch Carplay (IOS) oder Android Auto gestartet.
â Android Auto: Die Erfahrungen mit Android Auto sind bislang sehr gut. Hier funktioniert alles, was uns wichtig ist. Hey Google macht meist das, was man sagt ð.
Das Navigieren(Sprache und Touch voll ok), Telefonieren(Anrufen und Abnehmen per Sprache funktioniert) und Whatsapp(Schreiben per Sprache und Vorlesen eingehender Nachrichten). Das Abspielen von Musik und Hörbüchern geht natürlich auch.
ââ Carplay: Mit Carplay sieht das nicht so gut aus. Siri nimmt immer primär die eigenen Apps, das war lösbar in den man die Apps Karten und Musik löscht. Danach wird z.B. Google Maps für Routen verwendet.
Dann funktioniert leider bei Whatsapp das Abhören einer Sprachnachricht nicht.
Nur ist das für meine Frau sehr wichtig, dass ich sehr ärgerlich. Da vermute ich aber das Apple hier die Schuld hat.
Carplay funktioniert bei uns leider nicht konstant, Siri reagiert oft nicht oder meldet keine Nachrichten. So ist es derzeit nutzlos für meine Frau.
Hier weià ich aber nicht, wer hier Schuld hat Carpuride oder Apple?
Fazit: Grundsätzlich scheint mir das Carpuride W904 ein gutes Produkt zu sein. Nur leider war es primär für ein IPhone, sprich Carplay gedacht und das will bei uns einfach nicht richtig funktionieren. Da ich aber vermute das es ein Problem des IPhone bzw. von Carplay ist, bewerte ich das W904 vorerst mit 4 Sternen. Den mit meinem Android Handy funktioniert das W904 bislang sehr gut, wenn Carplay genauso gut funktionieren würde gebe es 5 Sterne von mir.
Sobald ich neue Erkenntnisse habe oder sich neues bei der Benutzung ergibt, werde ich die Rezension updaten.
Den Preis bewerte ich nicht mit, das kommt bei meinen Bewertungen nur vor sollte ein Produkt viel schlechter als die erwartete Wertigkeit sein.
