Works ok stand alone, won’t connect to new PC by Bluetooth or USB
It worked fine when I first bought it with a ten year old laptop running Windows 7, connecting via USB. About a year ago I bought a new, higher spec laptop running Windows 10 and installed CardioExpert, but it wouldn’t connect to the ME90 by Bluetooth or USB. When trying to connect by Bluetooth it asks for a PIN, there is no PIN in the documents or packaging and I haven’t set up a PIN. We’ve tried connecting by Bluetooth to a tablet and a smartphone, but can’t connect to the ME90.Today I decided to try uninstalling and re-installing the CardioExpert on my laptop. It won’t reinstall from the disc and when I try to download from Beurer it requires me to register, but won’t let me register. This is a potentially very useful gadget that works fine stand alone to give you a reading, but is let down by crappy connectivity that prevents you from saving, viewing or printing the results and heartbeat waveform. Shame.

Easy to use when set up
Easy to use when set up. The setting up itself was a bit trial and error, using my laptop to configure it, but I succeeded in the end. There is a “Help” facility on screen which gives the setting up instructions but not until you have already set it up! It is compatible with Windows 10 on my laptop for seeing the ECG wave etc., though it only mentions Windows XP, 7, 8 and Vista in the handbook. Printing out the ECG, however, does not work. I get a message which says “Printer Index out of range” so there must be an incompatibility. I have resorted to using my camera to take a photo of the ECG wave as displayed on the computer screen, then downloading the photo to my laptop and printing the image from that!

And then it’s no good if you have a pacemaker fitted which i do …
Where do i start. Battery i guess. Popped them in two bar showing flat after one go. Popped them out and in again 5 bar. Then back to 2 bar. then zero . Now showing 5 bar…. And then it’s no good if you have a pacemaker fitted which i do have. Do not remember reading that anywhere …. . Then it’s not the one i ordered the link at the bottom of the page said there is a new version at £129. not the £88 one. The £88 one gave me a link to the new version which is the old one . The photos are wrong way around ! i guess if you order the new one you will get the old one . Or order the old one and get the new one at £88. and the old one for £129. The old type has watch batteries . New one has built in one. I’m confused now ! I would say be very careful .. Grrrrr ! just went back and read the page again says nothing about pacemakers. Does in the booklet that came with it. Do not use with a pacemaker fitted, !!

Software issues make otherwise nice hardware useless
The Android app is not working on Android 10 at all, on earlier versions the sync with ME90 does not work as expected, showing erratic data and not displaying the ECG.While the device itself appears a nice piece of work, but no Bluetooth connectivity renders it massively overpriced vs. other simpler ECG scanners. Returning to Amazon as not working/not matching description ð¤·ð»ââï¸

Men enheten fullkomligen äter batterier.
