Organic energy tea for non-tea drinkers
I’m not usually a fan of tea, but Friends kept telling me about matcha as an additive to workout drinks so I decided to give it a try.I sampled a lot of different brands that my friends were using but was not impressed. Then I came across Baahtcha. It was unique in that it was such a premium quality product at a reasonable price. So I gave it a try, and I’m glad I did!What I like most is that it dissolves extremely well and does not leave a bitter aftertaste! As a bonus, it gives a boost of energy that is great before and after working out without any noticeable crash afterward.This serving size is so small that you can get a lot of servings from a moderate amount in a resealable bag that is very portable without the bulk of a hard container. And it comes with its own measuring spoon!If you need energy or fat burning with extra focus and no jitters, do yourself a favor and give Baahtcha a try! (And I love the logo!)

Best so far
I’ve tried several brands of matcha–some better than others but all still taste a little bitter. This is one of the best brands, with the least amount of bitter aftertaste even with no sweetener or milk. It does dissolve easily and is smoother than others. Mine was a nice green color too (not sure if the negative reviews got a different batch, or if they just have had better brands than I’ve tried but I totally disagree with their characterization of this being the worst!)But the biggest thing it has going in its favor is that it does not upset my stomach even if I drink it without food–ALL the other ones I tried I had to have milk at least, or I would get nauseous. Drinking plain black tea does the same thing to me–it has to have some kind of milk in it at least, although I can drink black coffee on an empty stomach with no issues. I just tell you that in case you have similar results and therefore may know if this is the matcha for you to try!I took off 1 star because it’s from China so I’m not sure about the purity (though it’s certified organic at least).

This is really good matcha powder
This is really good matcha powder. I drink regular green tea that comes mixed with small quantity of matcha often and figured I try this product. This is strong compared to regular tea as it is highly concentrated. I have mixed it in hot and cold water and it mixes equally in both leaving no residue. I like to use larger amounts of water than the recommended 12oz per serving. I mix one serving in 32oz and it still makes a strong tea. I drop a spoon of Baatchata in a nalgene bottle filled with water and I take that on hikes. When I am in the mountains and want hot tea through the night I would do the same but with hot water. This is way better than the best green tea bags you can get because if you don’t seep the bags for the right amount of time you can create a bitter tea. With this matcha powder I just drop a spoon in and that’s it. Plus you don’t have used tea bags creating extra trash. Baatcha is the best matcha powder! The only thing I didn’t like is the plastic serving spoon that comes in the bag. It has a ribbed design on the handle that collects powder so when you take it out the bag it always dumps some out, wasting some of that good matcha. Also its kinda hard to get the powder to deposit nicely out the spoon because of the bowl design of the spoon. But that’s a not really an issue since everyone has a good old metal tea spoon. This though just shows how high the quality of this matcha powder really is. It sticks like that because it is so fine. It makes you just want to snort it 🙂 I m kidding, don’t do that
