    Great Quality Product
Easy to set up, remote didnt work so just took out the battery and put it back in again and worked. Purchased for playing my vinyl, but tested the bluetooth first from my phone sound quality is ok depending on where Im streaming from. When playing vinyl I noticed the sound quality improve immensly. More bassy, just a shame you cant control the bass and treble for the price paid. However, Im happy with it and worth the money.

    Well made and good quality
So the speakers are really well made, I went for the bamboo finish. They are solid and heavy. Everything comes in there own little velvet bag. Cables all included even an aux Jack for a phone. I got the Bluetooth version, there is still an aux Jack and red and white in. Everything tells you it’s quality from just the packaging.I bought them to use with my decks. They are super compact and throw out a brilliant quality sound. But I also use them for sitting and enjoying music.I did order the subwoofer a week later and that made such a difference. If anything the bookshelf speakers lack a touch of bass and maybe a bit of EQ wouldn’t go a miss. They would be perfect for using with a TV or computer. I’d say they would be wasted on a computer if you are just gaming £400 to £500 for gaming seems a waste to me.The remote is basic but made out of a solid bit of aluminium.Definitely a good purchase. So compact and so powerful. I was wary as most of my Bluetooth speaker just don’t have the power, they lack depth and oomph. I’ve had/have Sonos, a beats pill +, jongo, and a klipsch dock. The audio engine wins hands down.

    Expensive but soooooo worth it
Ok, they are expensive and there are cheaper speakers. But as the saying goes “You get what you pay for”. The sound is amazing, clear, crisp and full of depth. They are meant as desk top speakers, but as they are the size of standard hi-fi speakers, you need a big desk. Also bought the S8 sub-woofer, which completes the set. worth the cost. All in all, well worth the money if you like your music,

    Amazing
Breathtaking. Worth every penny. If they completely stop working the day after they’re 3 years old I will still consider them the best speakers I’ve ever owned. They took a few hours for my ears to get used to them, at first they sounded a bit muddy but now I can hear so much detail and they’re just amazing.

    Excellent sound
The sound quality compared to my previous speaker system is superb (Cambridge Sound which was more than 10 years old). There is improvement in all recorded formats and even music streamed via Spotify sounds excellent in comparison to before. The wireless setup is easy and despite my wife’s tech scepticism she plays her yoga app from her iPhone and finds it simple and produces a great sound. Wired to a Blue ray there is a great sound quality over the TV sound alone. I will buy some stands to reduce the risk of speaker damage so close to the ground and where there is no speaker cover. If connecting from multiple sources yo do need to remember to disconnect any wiring as there is no source switch but that’s not difficult.

Solid speakers with well balanced sound
AUDIO ENGINE A5 Wireless – I love these speakers; very smart and showey. They make a bold statement.I’m fussy about sound and I know what I like. These have a very well balanced sound from bass to treble **especially when using a high bit rate source like 320kbs or FLAC**Space them out to get best effect, then just sit back and chill…NOTE that there is no UK support, but apparently there is a 2 year warranty on these via Amazon’s partner supplier AudioVisual Online.

    A truely great little speaker
I originally bought a pair in bamboo as pc speakers a couple of years ago but in the end they proved so good i used them to replace an lg soundbar & sub-base on tv.although the price has increased considerably since the original purchase i have just bought another pair for the pc, but even at the higher price i still believe there great value for money and the sound from them is awesome at this price point.

    Amazing sound
I’d forgotten what vinyl sounds like and these speakers really bring it to life. High tweets with rich base create an all consuming experience which seems lost with downloads or even CDs. Since my pre-amp arrived I haven’t stopped listening to them.

The Audioengine A5 Wireless Home Theater Bookshelf Speakers are a stellar product that I wholeheartedly recommend. Whether you’re an audiophile, a movie buff, or just someone who appreciates great sound, these speakers will not disappoint. They combine top-tier audio performance with a sleek design and user-friendly features, making them a standout in their category. If there is a con, the on/off switch is located on the back of the speaker.

I bought this set of Audioengine A5+ wireless speakers and the S8 subwoofer after reading many reviews. Initially thought of using it as my computer speakers but since I set it up and listened to it, I decided to use it in my bedroom. The quality of music is outstanding. Just the two speakers produce excellent audio images of whatever kind of music I streamed to it. The subwoofer takes the entire set-up to a next level but provide extra low frequency and freeing up the speakers to concentrate better on the mid and high frequencies (If I did not initially purchase the subwoofer, I might have probably done without it. Therefore if you are looking to purchase, I would recommend initially listening to the speakers only and deciding if you need a subwoofer. You can always buy it if later if you need it.)In summary, the Audioengine A5+ are excellent speakers for daily listening. They produce accurate and balanced sound images – very close to studio monitors. For the audiophiles who look for studio monitors; I would not use the A5+ as studio monitors because they are not studio monitors (For example, the Yamaha HS8 has a more accurate frequency response and honest reproduction of music to the A5+). However, comparing A5+ to studio monitors is unfair as studio monitors serve a different purpose. Studio monitors are not great for entertainment purposes (not unless one uses a hardware/software mix like a studio set-up). Studio monitors will sound very flat if you use it for daily listening purpose. I don’t think these A5+ provides such an honest reproduction of music like studio monitors do.The build quality of the speakers and the subwoofer were not short of excellent. The bamboo speaker cabinets are so gorgeous that I wished the subwoofer came in a similar bamboo cabinet. The clean design is easy on the eye and will easily hideaway on a bookshelf. The knobs, connections, and lights all placed in easily accessible areas and felt premium quality. Even the remote control was sleek and had a premium feel to it.The A5+ was easy to set-up and connected well with Bluetooth. I do think wired connections are marginally superior (you could set them up using the cables if you wished), but wireless (not WiFi) is so much esthetically pleasing. The reduction of quality was not worth the wires in my humble opinion. The A5+ is not a smart-speaker (like a Google Mini or Amazon Alexa, or even a Sonos 5). If you are looking for a smart-speaker, look for one of those. However, I could guarantee that none of those smart-speakers will sound as great as the A5+ (for that matter not even most other dedicated book-shelf speakers provide such good quality sounds like the A5+s do at this price point!)Finally, the subwoofer is excellent. I am positive that it is not a must – the speakers themselves sound so good. If you listen to hip-hop or other forms of music where there are many low-frequency effects, consider purchasing the S8. The S8 bass is relatively tight but not tight as some other options available at similar price points. It undoubtfully improves the overall experience, if you are willing to bite the bullet. The build quality is excellent once again. Finally, Amazon delivery services – best out of all other services that I have ever used. Quick, courteous, and easy to deal with. I will give five stars to the service.
